Heights would have lost next week anyway....from what I can see. Now maybe Pieper won't....they look more complete.

AH defense once again, for the third year in a row, showed they have no stamina for 4 qrts of competitive football.
I picked AH to win because I thought they would be able to get to the Pieper QB since he is not mobile at all.
Maybe the next realignment will give them better competition in district to prepare them for the playoffs.
Congrats to Pieper. They looked relaxed even while trailing.

That's what I gather too. I live in New Braunfels now, but I'm from Argyle for 20 yrs. I'm still Argyllian....my son was on the very first team and the very first team to play in a SC Title game in his junior season. That was 2005. I moved to Round Rock about 7 yrs ago, then to San Antonio, and now finally settled in New Braunfels. I like it far better than the Metroplex even though Argyle was on the edge. It's just too big for a country boy like me. I lived there for about 25 yrs and enough was enough after my son graduated.

A little down the road is McQueeny which is a nice lake town. Also Canyon lake is similar in beauty. And NW San Antonio with the hill country so pretty. Not like flat plain metroplex area.

Yep....I went to college back in the 70's in San Marcos and grew up on a ranch in Goliad....so I know this area like the back of my hand. Well....I knew it like that until they built it out. And the build-out is still in progress, but I try to stay on the edges if I can.

I imagine Liberty Hill is smilin' after watching tonight's game. No defense whatsoever. Pieper will have to outscore the Panthers to win.....that will be their only defense against that offensive juggernaut. Maybe the Pieper Coach has some experience defending that slot-t perfection.

Pieper did defeat Liberty Hill 33-23 in district play @ Liberty Hill on Nov. 3rd. Pieper is now (12-1) on the season....they lost the 2nd game of the season to Wimberley by a score of 44-6. Haven't looked back since then...won 11 straight. Not too shabby, Huh? Must be playing their best ball of the season right now. Liberty Hill won't be nearly as "caught off-guard" this time around.
My arrowhead collection as a boy went somewhere....I have no idea where. I had some good pristine ones back in the 60's.....they are gone now.

We had a big creek on the 200 acres back behind our house....I used to explore and find arrowheads in the creekbed and banks all the time.

My baseball card collection is gone, my tonka trucks is gone, and everything else. It all disappeared in the years I went to college and beyond. I think my Mom did something with that stuff....probably gave it away. Now it would be worth quite a bit...esp. all the collectible baseball cards. I was the youngest of 3 sons.
You know what mothers do.....they keep the pictures and baby stuff, the albums and graduation stuff for you. They do NOT see any value in all the rest of the stuff boys collect.
But my son has boxes of his collectibles in boxes upstairs. Boxes of stuff....esp. sports cards of all kinds. Michael Jordans and older Topps baseball cards, too. All his Boy Scout stuff, ribbons and trophies from track, football, and baseball. Baby stuff, albums, photos.....his mother kept all of that stuff for him. Then when she passed we found it all in the boxes she had it stored in. He still has his track shoes he wore in high school his senior year when he and his relay team won the 4x400 at the Texas Relays. AND his gold medal with it. So not ALL mothers throw the stuff out. He was the only child via "C" Section birth.....she was 35 at the time....so no more pregnancy. But I was # 3 and a younger sister was #4.....so probably too much to keep up with.....that was a big difference. My wife is gone and my Mom is still alive.....go figure.

Pieper defeated LH 33-23 on November 3rd, itโs gonna be a great rematch They didnt just beat LH, they whooped em. That score is much closer than the game. LH got 2 late 4th qtr TDs and those were their only offensive TDs in the game. Pieper held that running game in check big time and i would bet LH had less than 50 yards rushing at the half. This is going to be a damn good game because I think LH is playing better and their staff will definitely make some adjustments for this game.
