I watched Brownwood beat Calhoun in a State Championship game 26 to 6 in Austin Texas in 1960. It was cold that night. Brownwood had a guy by the name of Lawrence Elkins. CCMiller Bucs beat my Alma Mata the WFCoyotes night before in Waco. It was cold and raining. Miller Bucs had a RB by the name of Johnny Roland. What does this have to do with now?

He's either an attention whore, or just trolling.

This is going to be a fantastic game! An old fashion slugfest!
Both teams playing very well and Alice now with a great coaching staff to match the great staff at PLC unlike last year. Alice kids have a score to settle with PLC after having their season ended in round 1, now a chance to play in the region finals on the line!
May both teams be safe and injury free! To the fans traveling to and from the game, be safe as well.

I don't think it's been pointed out yet that Alice lost 32 seniors from the 2022 team and this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Alice. So for those of you that think this is a 1-year wonder situation and you're gonna go back to beating Alice every year because your 1 freshman team beat 1 of Alice's 2 freshmen teams then you have another thing coming lmao.

If Vic West and Alice move into 5A Div 2 hopefully they are in the same district. Also maybe Vic East will have a non district scheduled with Alice.

No matter what happens this has been a great year! This year's team is probably the most fearless team I've ever seen and I've been watching since the late 70's.

I don’t know about most fearless but this team does seem to have the swagger and finesse of that 2008 team mixed with the hard hitting edge and scrappy underdog mentality of those 90’s Whatley led coyote teams … a great hybrid for sure

I watched this game last year. To me it did not look an Alice team on the field. Sometimes it seemed like the players were just going through the motions.
I have not seen Alice this year but it sounds like they are motivated to play this year. PLC will put up a good fight. I think the difference will be Alice is on a momentum roll feeding off each win. That’s hard to stop.
