For 2024 - 2025 Cut Off #'s (for now) 6A ---2290 and up -- 249 schools 5A ---2289 - 1340 -- 257 4A ---1339 - 530 -- 209 3A --- 529 - 275 -- 202 2A --- 274 - 105 ---221 1A --- 104.9 - 5A-1 --- 2289 - 1860 -- 132 schools 5A-2 --- 1859 - 1340 -- 125 4A-1 --- 1339 - 900 -- 107 4A-2 --- 899 - 530 -- 102 3A-1 --- 529 - 370 -- 102 3A-2 --- 369 - 275 -- 100 2A-1 --- 274 - 195 -- 107 2A-2 --- 194 - 105 -- 114 1A --- 104.9 Based on your projections that puts Moody, TM, Calallen, Kingsville, PLC, and Beeville together. With possibly Rockport who is 2 below the 900. Maybe bring Floresville and Pleasanton that way as well. That would be a fantastic district! A good mix of quality teams, potentially descent teams to make things interesting, and then Moody. District play would actually prep them for the playoffs!

If all those opt ups of the past don't opt up this round will really change things around. 5 Austin schools may be 4A-1. That a District by itself. Burnet-Lampasas could go to Region 1. Hope not, a lot more travel distance.

The cut off #'s posted 11/9. Padilla is dreaming !!! That was a shocker. 4AD1/D2 cutoff 990?!? But the thing about Carl Padilla....he's not 100% accurate, but he's usually pretty close. I've seen his 4A/3A cutoff (590) and I've seen his 3AD1/D2 cutoff (380), so I'd expect the actual numbers from the UIL to be close to them.

These cut off #'s would sure change everything a lot. UIL will be making some big surprising changes I think. Maybe next week we'll find out cut off#'s.

It was posted last week that cutoff numbers would be revealed on Dec 1. I'm guessing that didn't happen?
