Friday @ Calallen
I can see this going two different ways
1). A close game with the winner determined very late .
2) Calallen blows the door open and proves all the doomsayers silent including myslef
I know the Hidalgo game last week is probably a horrible game to make this comparison. But I believe teams can make adjustments that bare fruit even against horrible teams and I saw that Friday. If you were paying attention we actually made this change FINALLY in the second half of the TM game two weeks before . This was making the change at center and QB that made a laughing stock out the offense for four weeks after the Cuero game. To me the kids looked a much more in sync vs the fumbling and bumbling we witnessed. We shall see if this theory comes true against a salty Beeville team which appears to have its own identity crisis late and at the wrong time judging by the loses in their last two games.

Calallen football is well known to the Beeville HC Soza. He has to know how Campbell defenses work as well as any coach out there. Saying that a Campbell run offense isn’t that what he may be used to playing against. I haven see a bit of video on Beeville but they seem to have built a good team in B-Town. May the best team win.

Where’s the poll?
Beeville is in a tailspin, they won’t climb out of it. Calallen wins!

Conversely Soza and his trademark Slot T are well known to Campbell as well. And over the balance of the years, the defenses have been up to the task.

I agree with both #1 and #2. Beeville lost to a 2-7 Pleasanton team. So blowing the door open may happen And three weeks before beat the now district champ PLC and beat Rockport and Floresville by blow out margins. And started the season off beating the same Sinton team that beat La Vernia which Beeville lost to 49-0 two weeks ago (yes I know comparing a win/loss early vs late has it's flaws) . They are 7-3 for a reason, but the last two weeks have to be concerning for sure.

Second season starts this week. I think Cal will come out fired up and put it on Beeville.

Beeville's loss last week was a head scratcher. Players looking ahead? Took Pleasanton too lightly? Pleasanton was a bad match up for Beeville. High school football, man. Either way, I see Calallen rolling in this one.

It's suppose to be raining on Friday. Soza will be up for this matchup. It's going to be a close game.

Either they have some really key injuries or are just in a tailspin. Either way, if they play like they did the last 2 weeks Calallen will beat them soundly
