3 times in the 2nd half. Maybe more counting the first half. 2 of the 3 were pick 6’s. Did you watch the game? Wrong again. Only one was a pick 6. Keep trying to fit your narrative. You are going nuts with the schools you endorsed are bad and mediocre at best. Also news flash, Vets reign is over. Chino called it, and you didn’t want to believe him. It’s only down from here. Technically, it was 1. But in all reality, it was 2. The second one got to the 1 yardline, and the td happened on the next play.

Miller is going to do what they do, seemingly for the foreseeable future. If you don't have a very very good defense, you're going to give up 40+... and even when you have a very good defense, sometimes they'll still get 40+. Vets does not have an elite defense this year.

Yup CALPREPS.COM Your source for high school football scores, standings & rankings PROJECT A MATCHUP neutral field [2023] Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX) 34 (80%), [2023] Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX) 21 (20%)

I have not seen PSJA North play. I’ve watched a lot of high school football and you can see a winner when you do. FB FAN can tell you I saw the Calallen team that played at Jerry world and I’m not much for on predictions but I said that team would go get a SC. I saw them play some epic battles with La Marquee. Those were good teams. I also watched them whip everyone in district and Region then get blown out. You can’t judge a team based on 2 year old history and expect the new year’s team to be the same. Until CCISD starts scheduling region 3 teams for non district expect the same results I saw this same PSJA North team play last season as juniors. They were very good, just a little young. Big/athletic lines, good skill players. Hella mean on defense (and on the O-line). Their problems against Vets? The senior defensive line that all went on to play college ball. They got taken out of their run game and tried to pass way too many times. Who is going to take them out of their run game this season? I'm predicting nobody before game 16. Sidenote- Had they stuck with their run game throughout the game last year vs Vets, they would have eventually had the success they needed to win the game. They abandoned the run way too soon. NOTED

They're big and mean. Take notes... y'all gonna learn.

Hell, 5A-2 Peiper and 4A-2 Wimberly would go undefeated in 5A-1 region IV. It's a weak sauce region and has been for the past several years.

There’s New Braunfels Canyon, El Campo, La Vega, Wagner, Cedar Park, and College Station. And no, those teams wouldn’t go undefeated. PSJA North, Miller, CC Vets, and Edinburg Vela would all compete well and some would win. Count Flour Bluff in there, too. And possibly GP.

LMAO… you do realize you took his specific 2 team reference playing in R4 5AD1 and expanded it to 6 teams in R3 across multiple divisions playing in R4 5AD1. You didn’t even choose the best teams from R3!! You also added additional R4 5AD2 teams on your side’s scenario! LMAO!!!

What the hell does a 5 loss 4-A div LaVega team and a 3 loss 4A-1 El Campo team have to do with a 5A-1 division team? FB and GP are div 11. CP, CS and Wagner would go undefeated and win the region in 5-A-I. You need to watch some games outside of region IV. Even then I seriously wonder if you could see the difference in the level of play.

Daggum just cause a kid says another kid is mean across from another kid doesn't mean jack!
Heck I know some mean girls that can line up and make boys cry on the other side... doesn't make them good.... Heck TM a couple years ago had some mean fellas that were nut punchers and ankle biters... cheated every chance they got and down right dirty when they got you in a pile... went 1-9, but they were mean! Bullies even!
Mean does not equal good all the time...
Now when you look at a College Station or a Smithson Valley or an Aledo or a DeSoto, those kids are physical. They play whistle to whistle. They are strong as an ox. Country boy strong even! They don't just have beach muscles. They are nasty when it comes to pursuing the ball, like a starving pack of lions ready to maul their pray. They're not dirty about it, but you dang sure will feel it when they hit you. When 2 or 3 hit you, oh lawd you're gonna want to not want the ball anymore.
So just cause a kid says someone was mean to play, doesn't mean they were good. North is a good Valley team and this year is probably the best Region 4 has to offer in the cesspool created by the brainchild that is ccisd. Had district 11 and 12 gotten to stay and be involved, Region 4 would be reputable this go round and given CS a run for its money with Smithson Valley or Cedar Park or Wagner.

I'm not sure CC Warcat will understand this? ? But nice attempt though.... Nope Hell, I've watched 3 of North's games. I will admit they are big up front offensively. And, they may be strong and mean. But they are not what I'd call an overly athletic, quick line. They have a good running game for sure but the passing game is very average. It may be good for a RGV team but it is NOT better than average when comparing it to the good passing teams in 5a D1 statewide. I also do not see any overwhelming team speed for them and this is what I think that, and the weak sauce schedule they've played and are going to play in the R4 playoffs are going to be their downfall against a R3 top team. I honestly think SV's defense would eat that North offense up! I do think North's defense is good but again, does anyone here believe they'd own 7 shutout wins if they'd played SV's schedule. I don't think so. lmao SV has already played at least 5 teams that are far better than any North has played and beat them all. That said, I wouldn't pick SV right now to win R3. I think CS is the favorite.
