As a Hoggie alumni, I am glad to see the TAMUK team at 6-0. Granted I know they beat a couple of D3's in there, but finally ranked again and winning games!!!!! I hope this trend continues and they completely turn around from where they've been in recent years. Go Hoggies!!!

But yes they kind of had a TM like front end of the schedule with some horrible teams and a couple that are having a down years compared to more recent and they have the hardest part to come I hope it continues, but doesn’t take their eyes of the need of the facilities upgrade or it will be short lived like it was a few years ago when they hired the previous coach.

I completely agree.... I remember Harms's last year before all the controversy, they were discussing moving to D1-AA or now FCS. His biggest complaint then was if they make the jump he needs D1 quality facilities... then 2 months later low and behold the recruiting scandal and he's out the door and they slid to rock bottom and laughing stock....

Yep. They should’ve gone Southland back the which was essentially some old LSC members like Sammy, SFA, and SWT. Plus you had the Louisiana schools and the program would’ve flourished because the recruiting base was Houston and the East Texas JUCOs. Would’ve been an incentive for recruits to come this way knowing most of their games would’ve been close to their actual homes. Not in Portales New Mexico or Canyon.
