I heard the outcome wouldn’t change any team trying to get in the post season. Another cool thing that happened yesterday was he asked the doctor who won and told him he did. He won the game of life. Truer words have never been spoken It effects possible seeding. There will be a Neutral site playoff game next weekend for the AFC because of this decision.

It's only the AFC title game that would be neutral site. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35392368/nfl-approves-plan-possible-neutral-site-afc-title-game?platform=ampESPN NFL approves plan for possible neutral-site AFC title game ESPN Jan 6, 20234 Minute Read NFL approves possible neutral-site AFC title game NFL approves possible neutral-site AFC title gameMax Kellerman and Brooke Pryor detail the decision to adjust the AFC playoffs, with the possibility of a neutral-site championship game. NFL owners have approved a plan that leaves open the possibility of a neutral-site AFC Championship Game and could determine home-field advantage for a wild-card game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens by a coin flip. In the wake of the cancellation of Monday's Bills-Bengals game, the following scenarios based on Week 18 results were approved for holding the title game at a neutral site: • If Buffalo (12-3) and Kansas City (13-3) both win or tie, a Bills-Chiefs championship game would be at a neutral site. • If Buffalo and Kansas City both lose and Baltimore wins or ties, a Bills-Chiefs championship game would be at a neutral site. • If Buffalo and Kansas City both lose and Cincinnati (11-4) wins, a Bills or Bengals vs. Chiefs championship game would be at a neutral site. If the Ravens win Sunday over the Bengals and are matched against Cincinnati in an AFC wild-card game, the site would be determined by a coin flip. If Cincinnati wins or if the two teams are not matched against each other after a potential Ravens win, regular scheduling procedures would be used.

Well, Cowboys are doing Cowboy things just in time for the playoffs. At least Rodgers is out of playoffs so we won't have to hear Buck company kissing his overrated arse.

I mean, nothing has really changed since 1996. Except for about a half dozen Head Coaches and players. Jerry is the one constant..... so there it is.

No way he is stepping backwards. Dude is a good coach and will land squarely on his feet with another HC job either at a high level power 5 or the NFL

It's not like Kliff was lighting it up as the Tech HC before his NFL stint. Yep. He had that one good year at Tech when Baker Mayfield was the Qb and then he replaced him and the season went south later and I think they started like 7-0 and ended 7-5. Then enter Mahomes for the last part of that season and the next two and they still finished just north or south of .500. And that continued until he was hired by the Cardinals. I never understood why the Cards thought this was a good hire. But yes it would be a good path for him to look at the Lane Kiffen model of coaching rehab. Take a year off and become an analyst or color commentary guy on ESPN or Fox Sports and then look for another gig in the college ranks as an OC, then a HC job at a mid major or FCS, etc. Again he is just another college coach that really had no business dipping his toe in the NFL like Sabin, Rhule, Myer, etc because they never had exposure as a coach in the league even as a player much less as a bottom of the ladder assistant coach in the league . It's a different animal and why college coaches keep on doing this is baffling, but they do get a good paycheck to bank I guess?

Dallas knew they had nothing to gain vs Washington. Not saying they mailed it in but you can't fake the emotion of something to play for. The PC Redskins were playing to keep their jobs.

Tua is out with a scrambled brain and now Lamar Jackson is out with a knee injury (questionable timing if you ask me). The NFL playoffs are not off to a good start with two exciting QBs on the IR.
