In early 80s late 70s. Vegas had class. You couldn’t walk the floor in shorts. All shows you had to have a jacket and tie. Buffets were reasonable. Just classy. I went about 6 years ago it’s very sad Two places I care to never visit again unless I have too. 1) Vegas 2) Disney World The last time we went to Disney was 2010 when all three of mine were young ones . They had a blast and I had some good times too. At one of the parks I was in line at a cart that sold bottled water and the line wasn't really defined I guess. Anyhow I knew who was there before me and was not going to cut in front of them. When the attendant asked who was next I looked over at a lady and was just going to tell her "go ahead, you were here before me" and before I could say one word she decided to just berate me that I was going to cut in front of her and how dare I do that. I was like Mam, calm down I was just going to tell you that you were next. But she went on and on and on. I realize it was hot and some of these folks come from places that heat is foreign like cold is to us down here, but it was just a strange day at that park. I recall seeing all sorts of parents and kids losing their tempers that day and I told my wife that this will be our last trip to this place and she agreed. If our kids want to drag us to Disney so we can be with the Grandchildren, we might do it. But we will stay at whatever resort and have Spa time and play Golf. They can have the rest of it! LMAO! Good luck!

We had a different type of experience in Disney We had been trying to go for a couple of years. Then a date came available. This was over 20 years ago and yes things have changed. Little did we know this was the start of gay weekends I had no problem until my young daughters started to ask why men were holding hands and kissing. Yes things are different but their stock ain’t what it used to be. Oh Walt would be turning in his grave

Wow 42 years ago. Different times. The only draw backs were it wasn't cheap and long lines for rides. I wouldn't give Disney a penny now.

Somethings with Disney never change.

Where’s Booger? I know he’s alive. Just wondering if he’s ever going to post again? He lives in your neighborhood. He's only been posting during the playoffs. Check your PMs for his phone number.

My Dad took us to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm in CA in 1968. Then he took us to Disney World in Orlando in 1974. I took my kids to Disney World in 1991 after Desert Storm. I was given 4 free tickets by my unit. Turns out the free tickets were for active duty only, so they confiscated 3 tickets. I had to pay for my wife and two sons. I think it was $65 each. Never been back.

Anybody tired of this weather cycle? I’m ready for spring Funny how it works. We have a few 90 and even 100 degree days in late Feb and early March and then boom Spring Break resembles January winter yuck. Go figure I do recall when growing up we had even colder Spring Breaks, but they were also earlier in March too.

Yea I remember spring break trips to SPI in college packing shorts and long johns just in case. Also, all the midwest folks not realizing that 50 degrees and the gulf breeze is damn cold when the sun sets.

Great day. Sun came up well kinda. It’s not all about work give your kids and wife a hug. Give the big guy a moment too. Life is so very short. You want to be remembered by your legacy. Make it a good day
