Rumor here is he's more than likely to play DB for the Aggies. Like I said RUMOR.

Amen to that And from all I've been told by folks that know him, he is a very solid young man just like his older brother and his cousin Jonathan from Hallettsville who is going to do really good things at UT the next 3 seasons! I've heard from a good source that Jonathan really impressed in spring ball this year on the 40 acres!

He had offers from Army, Co St, Houston, & UTSA at one point and the word was he was leaning towards Houston but I do not believe he signed. Maybe a grades issue?? I'd love to see A&M double up and pick up both brothers because I think they are the kind of players that are potential difference makers in a program simply because of the high character they bring in with their small town, hard work ethics. He was fun to watch but I'm sure struck fear in both HS LBrs & DBs. lmao

It really wasn't fair.

Doug Brooks is playing DL for Texas A&M Kingsville. Great pickup for them! Kid is extremely athletic for his size. My guess is that if he'd have been 6'3" and 290, he'd be at a big time power 5 team right now. Just not quite big enough for D-line and a little too big for a skilled position player it seems. Hell, someone should have recruited him to play fullback!
