Just something to keep in mind. The NOAA is showing another low in the gulf by the end of this weekend, 4 days before the game on Thursday.

The forecast is showing rain on the 25th. If that's the case there won't be much passing and it'll come down to who has the better ground game? Rain hurts GP more. Receivers and QB will be a strong suit of this team. Wont worry about rain too much. Weather guessers barely know what it's going to do tomorrow let alone next week. No it doesn't. Both teams have to play in it and y'all are playing on turf.

Bru, these azzhat weather people cannot forecast the weather accurately 24 hours in advance.....I wouldn't put much stock in a 2 week lookahead. lmao It is truly the only job in the world you can be wrong every damn day and still have a job.

Unless it is pouring down rain during the game keep the balls dry is not an issue and neither is footing like it was many years ago when a field would get muddier than a pigpen!

This rain event we had down here over the weekend was only supposed to dump 1-2 inches. Got almost five at my home. Brush country between Tilden and Laredo got up to 10-15 inches and it's all headed to Lake CC via the Nueces River. Should be nice rise at Falcon too. I went up to Austin last weekend and from about the Three Rivers cutoff on I-37 to Austin, it's like desert brown.

All rivers and creeks need to get big rises on them to flush them out and most lakes are really, really low and need water. I just hope this next system comes ashore and dumps on us because we got a whopping .4" total out of this last one. It is bad and I penned 8 calves up to wean that I would have loved to have left out in the pasture another 6-8 weeks to get a little bigger but just can't. It looks like the middle of winter at my place and it sucks!! I'm glad yall and the brush country got a good soaking. My buddy's ranch just SE of Dilley got 3.5" and it was very much needed!

Just saw the Nueces River report and they are projecting a 23 foot rise above flood stage in Tilden. The record is 26 foot. Should be a good inflow of water into Lake CC then... Very good bounty for sure!

Very good bounty for sure! Dang, that doesn't help Choke Canyon any and it is even lower than Mathis is. Hell, a big run off and fill up of it helps more because it is used to help keep Mathis full. I just looked and Mathis is only 47% capacity and choke is worse at only 34%. Falcon is only at 10% OMG

Our place backs up to the Nueces river, don’t know the exact amount we got but it was a good soaker for sure and we really needed it. We haven’t had a decent rain on that place since Xmas.
