Well Texas Longhorn finally got a great commitment at QB. Arch Manning made his choice and the UT Longhorns got him to sign. Now the longhorns have two great QB”s Arch and Quinn Ewers.

As a long time diehard, I am going to reserve judgement on this. Only because I can count two times in recent years or guess going back 25 or so where I was downright disappointed with the hyped QB coming to Austin.
1) Chris Simms 2) Garret Gilbert
But I have no doubt Arch's family full of advisors would have not given their blessing if they saw Sark was going to be an issue.

After watching the UT coach over they last year he’s been very active working getting very good receivers thru the transfer portal. So far he’s gotten 4 very good commits. Now he has Quinn Ewers another great QB will immediately get targets for the offense to work with. Arch a 2023 QB commit will have time to adjust to the speed and have a year to settle into Sarks system.

The addition of Arch is a great addition to the Longhorns but Sark has to know he must build a complete team. Saban at Alabama knows this better than anyone. Look at the NFL rosters chock full of Alabama linemen. Linemen are the foundation of great teams and everything is built around them. Sark coached under Saban and he knows this all to well. In Texas A&M recently has had the pick of the litter on Texas line talent. Sark must break that cycle and secure some of that talent before they run out of the state.

It's tu, they will find a way to screw it up and he will be in the portal the following year.
Im guessing his NIL has to be $4-5 Million.

Murray, Kyle Allen, and just a few others ring a bell? Let’s not forget about Calazda who transferred to Auburn after playing several games injured and somehow winning one aggys biggest games in Kyle Field history against Bama. Your fan base was brutal to him.

Most of that was on Sumlin who was just a poor player manager making promises he never kept. Calzada was never going to start in the upcoming season at A&M, He and the whole world knew it. People respected Calazdas's gutsy performance vs Bama but he was average at best the entire season.

Yup Arkansas exposed how weak UT was up front last year on both sides of the ball. Especially moving forward into the SEC UT will have to get much, much better in the trenches or it will be UGLY. Hell, a&m hung right with ARK last year with a terrible QB simply because the line play and defense was light years better than what UT had. As far as Manning goes, I've no doubt he is going to be very good. The bloodline is there and you can bet along with the athletic ability the mindset will also be there. If UT screws this one up, all hope is lost.

Are these numbers correct and are the estimates are legit, guaranteed $$$s? If this is legit, then it is already completely out of hand and ridiculous

If this is legit, then it is already completely out of hand and ridiculous I don't think anyone really knows, I don't think these university collectives have to report to anyone so anyone can report any figure they like. I think this wild NIL spending will continue for another 3-4 years until it reaches a federal court issue about states' rights and such on player earnings and contracts. The NCAA will have to set some kind of salary cap per school or conference similar to the NFL. I also see it hitting the fan when a player with a high NIL deal is riding the bench or transfers and then questions come up about where the money goes. See Quin Ewers, guys hardly played and is now at school two, and sure to be three after Arch is now at Texas.

UT is working hard beefing up the defense. The Horns just got a commitment from Sydir Mitchell 6-6 340 4 star Defensive Tackle.
