The Rangers change managers again. Fired Woodson and named Tony Beazley interim. It won't help as the problem is relief pitching just like the previous 49 years with a brief interlude when Nolan Ryan was involved for a two or three years. The problem is in the front office. Duh

Duh They Spent $500 million in the off-season on free agents and only 10% was on a questionable starting pitcher in Jon Gray. Time for GM John Daniels to hit the bricks.

I 100% agree he's the current problem.

I give Daniels some credit for building the World Series teams in 2010-2011 and some good years after that, but since 2016 the Rangers have been bottom feeders with poor trades, prospects not panning out and bad FA signings.

So which way will the Rangers go. Blow everything up and do a rebuild like the Astros did? Building up from the minor leagues. Or try to keep the ML Roster together and add some more pieces to get better. I haven't paid attention to the rangers since BUTT Selig destroyed my dream of an all-Texas World Series by forcing the Astros to move to the AL when Crane bought the team. Now, because they are both in the AL West, I only have 1 team. The Astros. I grew up 30 or so miles east of Houston.

Wasn't that the time Nolan Ryan was helping? He was involved in a CEO role from around 2008-2013.

I think they try to turn it around with the current roster plus a few additions, but if they are not competitive in the next two years, they blow It up and trade way Seager and/or Semien. That's if there is even a market for them at $30 million a season with 5 plus years on their contracts left.

Astros in town, they won last night from what I saw on a tweet and Rangers play them today at 1 pm on dollar hot dog day on Wednesday's. Got off work at 6:45 am this morning and hopefully get about an hour of sleep in few mins and then hopefully head to game for few innings as I work tonight also. MLB games are cheaper than Sinton games now days with the gas still a bit high but worth the trip to see my HS team play each week I get a chance to go.
Astros looking good and looks like a championship season as they better get this year because next season it's RANGERS World Series lol!!
Head to Sinton on Friday morning for battle of the Pirates and hoping to get there early enough for the pep rally and my wife making the trip in Sinton home opener.

Astros go up 3-2 and back to Houston. One win away from the championship Need to clinch it Saturday. I am not sure if I am physically, mentally, or emotionally capable of two more games.
