Hey just gave the standard textbook HR apology and he was back working this past weekend in the Astros/Tigers series. A "source" said Bellino was disciplined but gave no explanation. That probably just means the umpire union had a talk with him and maybe a fine. It should have been made public to show MLB and the umpire union is holding their officials accountable. Damn Shame if they fined him but have never done anything to Angel Hernandez There is a lot of MLB umpires that should have been publicly reprimanded over the years. This was a chance for MLB to set a new precedent that umpires are not above the game.

But he's part of the Union, So here he is still screwing up the game. Players and Managers must cringe when they realize he is behind the plate calling the game.

If so, they should have fined him 4 games pay for that!

Saw few innings of Angels vs Rays. My hotel is 16 miles took me 1 hour 35 minutes to get there and 40 minutes to park.
20 minutes to get back to hotel. Angels fans rowdy!

In vacation next week heading to Cripple Creek Colorado for few days then to Denver hopefully see a Colorado Rockies vs Pittsburgh Pirates game next Friday. Was hoping to get a chance to see Sinton ex pitcher Anthony Banda pitch in relief but he was traded to Toronto Blue Jays for moolah.
My job has me in Boston in August 8-19th so planning on going Aug 13th on Saturday to Yankee/Red Sox game. Fly back in time for 1st weeks of HS football but going to miss the scrimmage of Sinton at Cuero hopefully its live stream.

Beautiful area! If you get a few hours drive over to Royal Gorge Bridge. You will not regret going to see it.

I have not watch any MLB this season but I saw that blockbuster trade the Padres did for the Nationals Juan Soto. Basily Padres gave up half the farm for him. Hopefully, small market San Diego can go on a deep playoff run or two before they trade him again in 2024 when Soto demands an estimated $500 million dollar deal.

I also notice the Yankees were finally tired of Joey Gallo and his .150 batting average and shipped him to the Dodgers. The best thing the Rangers did was never sign Gallo to a big long term deal for this lifetime .201 batting average.

Padres also got the first baseman Bell in that deal. It's definitely a win now type trade. I think Bell is a free agent after the season. Buy Yeah they paid up for them for sure.
