I found this interesting article listing which FCS teams had the best attendance for 2021. Some are not surprising like Jackson St with Deion leading the list, but I thought Sam Houston (#45 7,280) would have a bigger following after their championship run. It cant be easy for the FCS in Texas to compete with the big schools like A&M, UT, TCU and Tech. I was surprised to see several FCS from the Carolinas in the top 30 considering there are multiple large universities in this region and less population than Texas or Florida. UNC, Clemson, South Carolina, NC State, and a lot of cross-state fans in GA and VA. For some of these the capacity of their stadiums might have a little to do with it.[/quote] Yea for most FCS teams stadium size can restrictsthe true support or popularity of the team. I think North Dakota State could easly pull 25k if they were not limited to the fargodome. But to only see 7k at SH or SFA was disapointing, but its not like those schools are an easy road trip. Sam Houston Bowers stadium is 12.5-14k SFA Homer Bryce stadium is 14.5k
