I know it's nothing personal as to why people feel this way. The type of offenses that both Midlothian and Centennial bring to the table are not of the flashy, glitz and glimmer variety. I get it. That is what those coaching staffs have decided will be the best fit to give them the best opportunity to win football games. Centennial has now won a lot of them. Midlothian too. To your point, I think it would have very difficult for both Centennial and Midlothian to come out with a win had they gotten an opportunity to play Longview and College Station, but I will say this, I would have liked to have seen it. I think Midlothian vs Longview would have been a great game! I think Longview's offense would have been a little too much for Centennial to handle. But I still would have liked to have seen it.

Centennial just needs to keep doing what they're doing and keep developing. They're gonna keep knocking on the door and perhaps someday they'll knock the damn door down!

And Aledo returns a whole lot next season. They won't have the same question marks early on like they did this season. It will be their DL where they'll have some job openings. They also had another successful Freshman and JV campaign going unbeaten throughout those ranks, I believe. They'll be looking for #12.

I'm just glad we have Parish Episcopal, Centennial and Ryan all in Aledo this year.

You will get Guyer at their place but I have a feeling that you may be more equipped to compete with them early on better than this season. I think Aledo will definitely be a tougher out than they were this season because of all of the talented, and most importantly, battle tested kids returning. Centennial will have to go to both Denton and Aledo. The schedule will present plenty of challenges once again for sure.

Pretty solid everywhere else. Obviously need rotational players but I think we will have those.

They have one on the roster that will be returning however, he also started in the secondary. The question will be if they have a candidate to step in to run the offense or will they have somebody emerge through the off season to win the secondary spot so the other kid can come over full time at QB. Also have another in the secondary that rotated as RB. You always get concerned about two way duty even with the athletes that can do it i.e. Dehvon Keys. It’s best when you can do it in spot duty depending on the situation. Never the less, Centennial should be fine but they will need some kids to step up and emerge. For the Spartans I expect the rest of the schedule to be a little tougher.

With the coaching staff they have I don't have any reason to think they would not. But this will also be time for the kids returning to recognize that as well.
