What will be the seating capacity? Nice stadium. Not sure on the capacity? Good question. I’ll try to see if that is listed somewhere. It is pretty nice! Crowley is Burleson’s neighbor right next door to the northwest. Glad to see that they’re this. Both Crowley and North Crowley have had their own stadiums at each campus but they are pretty small venues. Looks like CISD finally decided to go for the large venue one stop shop for both schools. Good to see.

Good to see. Very Nice! Two schools sharing a stadium is a good solution for multiple school ISDs as both teams can schedule alternate Home games while the other team has an Away game! Plus when/if they play each other they alternate the Home side. It’s when three or more are sharing one stadium is when that forces Thursday or even Saturday games!

The BISD stadium came online in 2002. It’s almost 20 years old now and some upgrades have been made to it through the years but it is on the BHS campus and when they built Centennial they put in three practice fields for them including one field turf playing surface. I would expect at some point in the not so distant future that there would be a bond presented to either build a complete stadium on Centennial’s campus or make a motion to do what Crowley ISD is now doing and build a nice venue neutrally. The facilities at each high school can still be utilized for practice, track and field, and sub varsity sporting events.

I like making both sides of the stadium the same, complete with press boxes. Then even when they play each other the each have their normal side. One Endzone in one teams color. The other in the other. Like a house divided 50/50. Of course more than 2 teams trashes the idea.

No dout. CISD has gotten the design spot on! A little bit better look at a still frame shot of the Crowley ISD stadium. Information on capacity is 8,000 but it seems larger than that.
