A lot more questions than answers which is on par for the first week or two of college football.
Appears to be legit:
Alabama (again) --- Or Miami just kind of sucks too, but Bama is good
Ohio State- Minnesota gave them fits, but they will drive the train in Big 10 without question.
Don't have a clue
Georgia--- Looked great on D against a new QB from Clemson... Can they play offense?
Overrated:
OU- Should have lost that game to Tulane who had all sorts of distractions thanks Hurricane Ida. Rattler is not Heisman ready and their defense is horrible.
A&M- Struggled mightily for 3 1/2 qtrs. against a below average mid major team... Better shape it up in Colorado this Saturday.
Norte Dame- Always are, but media darlings are allowed to skate all the way to the playoff brackets where they get blasted
About where I thought they would be:
Texas- Good solid effort against the best football team from the state of Louisiana next to Tulane
Clemson- Losing your all world QB is going to take some time to adjust. They will be ok.
On the way up
Ole Miss- Looked good against Louisville.. let's see if the trend is their friend
Florida State--- Maybe?
Playing a close or winning a game against a heavy favorite can be fools gold. Ask Texas when they beat Norte Dame a few years back.
On the way down
LSU- Either UCLA is really good or LSU is mediocre or very bad. All I know the LSU message boards want Ed's head.
Indiana- Why were they in the Top 25 in the first place?
Who might crack the Top 25 sometime this season
UTSA---- Yep you heard it here first! Good road win against Illinois who had a game and victory under their belts against the Has-been Huskers.
