Yeah that was definitely overboard. But its Hush hush cause school boards kids and starting QB were involved. Total BS kids dont learn right from wrong that way Believe me it is not being hushed. The kid it happened to is from the old guard there and not that makes any difference because what was done was clearly over the top. These kids are facing felony charges.

Personally knowing two of the 3 men involved, I would be very surprised that they actually did anything wrong. I also highly doubt Soza would let his son put either of their careers in jeopardy. I really hope those men are cleared and the one responsible is held accountable and punished for false claims.

I was reading the little bit of information about the OG situation. It sounds disgusting and those kids need to be held accountable for what they did. Not only prison time but signs in their yards for being sexual predators. There is no place for that mess. If faculty knew, they need to also be punished and no longer allowed to teach or coach.

I totally agree with everything you said and I will give the victim props. He didn't even report it. His parents found out through social media. Not that it makes it right, but the kid was going to keep his mouth shut. The kids that did this and anybody who turned a blind eye deserve punishment.

I agree completely I seriously doubt any staff or coaches knew about this. I just cannot see anyone sitting quietly if they knew about it. I know that kids are kids and they do make mistakes but once you cross the line over to sexual assault type stuff I say time to pay the price. You play stupid games you win stupid prizes. Unfortunately more often than not though the punishment ends up not fitting the crime as was the case with what happened in Lavernia a few years back. I think those 17 & 18 year olds involved in what happened there got way less than they should have!! www.tpr.org/education/2019-12-16/defendant-in-la-vernia-high-school-sexual-assault-case-rejects-plea-agreement

I am glad Coach Dominguez was reinstated. He is a stand up dude, and I am glad he was found to not have anything to do with a wrong doing at the school. Now they need to do the same for the Sozas.

Those kids should not have been let off or given the chance to expunge the records. That is some bull crap there. They should all be in prison.

My son was a soph at Steele when this went down and when we asked him about it he shook his head and just said how....how could this happen once, much less multiple times. I just don't get it at all.

I missed how this got resolved back in 2019. The perps got a very generous deal... To be able to wipe it away like it didn't happen doesn't sit well as this wasn't like a 17 year old doing something stupid like shoplifting or even a simple assault where it could be assigned to simple immaturity or some other issue.. Back in the day we did pranks and some of them resembled what one would see in the movies of the 80's that are now classics. But never would it cross our minds to do something like these perps and others are doing which ultimately creates lifetime harm to victim(s). Had they assaulted a female, I doubt it would have been as generous of a deal and rightfully so. This shouldn't have been any different.

I bet had Beeville won last season, this would never have been an issue whatever it is. The fact they lost to everyone in district didn't do them any favors. Having been a coach in that town before, If the wrong kid doesn't play or make a certain team, that coach is fired immediately or put on leave and investigated until they usually leave on their own...

I know Soza’s current status is still unknown.. obviously I don’t know how serious the situation is since no one is saying a damn thing …I don’t even know what exactly is happening …just curious but what happens next ? Is the honeymoon/reunion in Beeville over? Does Soza move on from Beeville after this? ( even if cleared)
