I bet had Beeville won last season, this would never have been an issue whatever it is. The fact they lost to everyone in district didn't do them any favors. Having been a coach in that town before, If the wrong kid doesn't play or make a certain team, that coach is fired immediately or put on leave and investigated until they usually leave on their own... And dang that is sad because Soza left what is going to be the next boom area in the San Antonio area REAL soon. That school district reaches almost up Helotes and the Government Canyon area where some of the spill over from the Boerne/ Fair Oalks/Leon Valley/ NW San Antonio areas is starting to take root.

Pico i dont know how Castroville is managing with one high school right now. You are spot on that area is on fire with growth, I’m not too sure Castroville proper wants that. Soza left a good situation and now this.

I hate to tell em but it aint gonna happen!!

I hear its the same kind of thing as OG just not as vulgar. Locker room hazing stuff, just done to the wrong kid. It happens everywhere and usually is better if it just stays within the school and hushed. The OG thing should have had different ramifications and more discipline should have taken place.

You have to wonder if the damage has been done? It can be hard for an employee to go back to work and feel dedicated after something like this. Even if they were cleared of everything and shouldn't have been accused in the first place.

Interestingly they don't mention that Dominguez has been with the district almost 30 years total, and Chris Soza is on his 2nd stint. They just say all 3 coaches have been with the district 3 years... I also agree with you, I think the damage has been done and they will be looking for an exit strategy...

I would be shocked to see him back at Beeville after this season.

Not sure how it could be the same for Soza and his staff. I would be outta there!
