Both teams played hard last night and FB got to break in some new running backs along the way after losing their FB and TB to the varsity. GP's JV looked like it had made some progress since the scrimmage and their line seemed a lot bigger. I'm sure they will work out the kinks. I'll post some photos later.
And thanks '83.

Running mate is just Navy lingo for another one of your pack or group. Yep, have to agree king, still a lot of football to be played in the regular season for everyone.

Of course it matters to the players, parents and fans if you're talking about the game. As far as "riding the coat tails" as you put it, that is just silly. The JV is a team in and of itself playing it's own season with a DC as it's goal. Their efforts are to be appreciated and applauded. If you're talking about the spin being called when it's put out there.......Please be serious. Dang straight man. These kids work their butts off just like the varsity and they want to win them all just like everybody else. The W/L record certainly matters.......AT ALL LEVELS..........that is why we play the game! Congrats to FB's JV

Thanks Clem! The boys sure love to play the game and their JV coach takes it all very seriously.
King or '83, is that your new coach in the first picture in the blue shorts?

Yes JD, that's Coach A in the blue shorts. He was at the JV & Fresmen games last night. He was doing a lot of yelling at both teams. Which kid was Beauregard? I kept hearing his name last night. Is he Jimmy Beauregard's son? I believe his name is Greyson...he had a hell of a game running the ball. The QB did as well. I heard he was your son. Good players! I"m good friends with the Beauregard family, not a common name in these parts.

Greyson Beauregard is number 5. Heck of a player and RB. If he gets by you he's gone and he always finishes the run.

Thanks for the compliment on my son, I will pass it on. I like it when the varsity coaches are at the sub-varsity games...good job Coach A.
