Redrage told calcatgirl she was full of crap because he disagrees with her opinion. Ccvarmints said Danerher was 100 years old and could get exposed to one of the players and then denied mention of age ect. Those statements are still hard to digest . No one is putting a gun to your head to go to the game . You 2 guys statements read loud and clear that you do not respect other people ,so don’t go telling other people they are irresponsible.
Now for the poster about my son getting exposed if he was playing. My great grandson will suit up for the Rouse Raiders when the coach says go and he can’t wait.

Let me tell you about my other great grandson’s. This virus is going on and my 6 year old son first place at Sames Crow track last week in Gocarts. My 9 year old won fisrt place in the next level the week before. My grandson did not fair as well racing his Super Modified and Sames Crow is his sponsor. He does not adhere to social distancing sometimes bumper to bumper and three wide going pedal to the metal. They are racing. I have not heard of a problem with the Virus at the Corpus track or other tracks where he has raced. He is a tough young man and has been to emergency room over 28 times and mostly from racing and a few farm accidents. I took him skydiving with a back brace.

I’ve done a lot of reading on this. It’s seems some want to “protect” a section of society as others go about their daily business. This makes me sick. When someone says “protect” the elderly, or others at high risk, they are essentially saying, lock them up, don’t let them out. That’s walking a dangerous line. As denying a section of society to certain inalienable rights so the larger section of society can go about the daily business, is selfish and disheartening. By using the word “protect” you are really saying lockem up. Don’t let them out. Today’s society would never have survived the world wars and the US would no longer be what we no it as today. Why do we have what we have today? Because generations before us put country ahead of self, today it is self ahead of country. Makes me sick. Why can’t we all do what’s best for society as a whole, get rid of this virus and then continue our lives. The folks who thrive off conspiracy theories are not going to let this happen, and for that, we will be in this mess until a vaccine is available. Then...... you have the anti vaccine people. Those are the ones who should be “protected” as some would say. It's not even about conspiracy theories with them. It's about the fact that it's happening while their boy is in office so they need to make excuses for the crap job he's done and the way he continues to downplay the virus. I guarantee you if Hillary was president right now all the people claiming the virus was a hoax would instead be blaming Hillary for the mishandling of this dangerous situation. Half of this country believes the virus is a joke because their leader tells them so. I've never witnessed people being sheep to this extreme level in all my 46 years. It's crazy and it's the reason we are in this bad situation to the extent that it is.

That is why we are having the problems we are having.

That bold part. Couldn't have said it better myself. We wouldn't be where we are if people weren't so selfish. No one wants to do what is best for society. I knew this was going to happen back in March when things were starting to shut down. I told a friend it will never work in the current USA because we are a population of entitled spoiled and selfish people. If people would have spent the last 3-4 months actually listening and doing what is good for society we would be having football in the fall. We have no one to blame but ourselves for not having football in the fall. You need to understand "selfishness' as you describe works both ways. One thing that has me pissed as hell is some (not all) in the education and government sector who are all on board about a locking down everything and anything and until the virus is under control. It is VERY easy for them to say this when they are getting paychecks. A few on my Facebook and other social media have either forgotten or don't care to broadcast what they are doing while they are on the clock and it has absolutely nothing to do with their work. But man they post like rabid dogs that everyone should obey and get in line and not question anything or even suggesting you are part of the problem if you are not shutting down. They really don't give a rat's ass about the mom and pop shops and establishments trying to stay alive.... Oh but then the say there are government programs to help you. Nope, not as easy as it sounds especially if you are still a start up and SBA and other programs want collateral and balance sheets showing you've been in business for more than two years. Stimulus payments? LMAO . I didn't get one because although my 2019 income reflects I'm eligible, my 2018 showed I wasn't and that's what they based the stuff on . But alot of that surplus income from 2018 went into my start up so it's not like I have 'bank" to rely for either personal or operational cost. I get that maybe some of the venues or what have you that act as incubators could have been scaled or not encouraged to attract the numbers they did which should have included all the protest going on the last month and a half. BTW why doesn't the media put two and two together with all that with the increase in youth numbers coming down with the virus instead of trying to blame it all on beach activity or hanging out at the river or lakes? Does the virus skip around the bayfront here in Corpus where the protests have been happening and go over to JP Luby or Padre Island Sea Shore? Can someone ask Dr Fauci this? No seriously because this is another thing lost on the shut down and keep everything shutdown people is the same people they hold in regard were and continue to be very contradictory themselves with the onset of the virus and continue to be so today when they said they had no problem with the protests but now you need to consider shutting down your church, gym or whatever public venue even if you show up in hazmat suit and do everything the CDC and state health dept says to a "T". I didn't get a stimulus either....but I'm not complaining. I'm thankful I still have a job. It sounds like you're upset because your business is suffering? I can understand that. But also, if people would have been listening the last 4 months instead of making the whole thing political and ignoring it we would be somewhat on the right track (like other countries) and we could be opening soon....but no one listened. So now we are in a bigger cluster f8ck! Victoria has it bad...because no one there social distanced and/or wore mask. Now the hospitals are almost filled there from the last I heard. I know several people there in the ICU fighting for their life.

I wonder how many schools have to delay and miss games or not want to play a season before the UIL cancels everything. Maybe the season continues as normal without those that want to sit out. Just a guess... They delay 6A and 5A 4A and under start on time if possible I'll be great with a 10 game season of non district games. Let Aledo play Ennis, SLC, Weatherford, Lone Star, Highland Park, Mansfield Timberview, Cedar Hill, Denton Ryan, Red Oak, and Lubbock Cooper. That's about as good as I could hope for.

Vitoria does have it bad 400 new positives the last two days one death Monday and one death Tuesday I read that they only have a few beds left for the real critical patients and someone has to decide who gets them when they have multiple critical. I try to stay away from people as much as I can and wear my mask always had to get tested because a coworker was positive I worked with but I was negative. I have relatives who have it one has is pretty bad but they won’t take him in the hospital yet because he ain’t sick enough yet wtf ...

Nueces county reported over 600 cases today with 6 deaths. Cases per capita that’s more than we are seeing in Bexar County right now. I’ve got a friend who is an ER nurse in Kingsville who is on day 3 of battling Covid and she said it’s pretty rough. She wore her protective equipment and did everything she could to not get this virus and she still got it.

Forget about the vaccine. 30,000 people have been treated with the vaccine and will not know for years if is is reliable. You can't just get a shot today and be able to tell if is successful the next day. We are a year or so away from a vaccine and over 150 companies are testing a vaccine.

Redrage said Danaher is 100 and could catch it from one of his players. That was not me. Your reading comprehension is terrible.

He is up there in age. He is considered a higher risk than a 17 year old player. He will very well get it from one of his players if the season goes on. It will only be a matter of time. He may as well just retire right now. It's probably safer for him that way anyway. I'm amazed at what some people are willing to risk for high school football. Calcatgirl is ready to risk their award winning headcoach just because Calallen is finally in 4A and has a good chance to win a title in a lower class lol smh I love football as much as everyone else on here but right now we have bigger issues.

CP's preseason has been delayed because RRISD and Travis county has deemed it so, at least it looks that way. If it is delayed the chances of making up those games might be slim. I think it is just a matter of time.
