Polls don't matter unless it's FBS. I look at them but don't worry about them. Especially Maxpreps This year especially. I don’t think all the teams are entered. The Lovejoy vs JPII score is wrong. Only coaching staff or admins can update.

And in Houston area when Houston is over 100 miles away. Corpus is around 60-65. And its crazy where they are ranked Nationally.

Sloppy game, too many penalties, cost Frisco two TDs early...but will take the W, lots to clean up
Credit Dallas Morning News
THE STAR - Frisco's Caree' Green had a hand in two of his team's four touchdowns in a 31-0 win over Frisco Reedy (1-1). Green ran for 14 yards and inaugurated Frisco's scoring with a two-yard run half way through the first quarter. He went 5 of 9 passing for 174 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown catch by his leading receiver Chase Lowery in the fourth quarter. Frisco (2-0) went up by 14 on a 53-yard rumble up the middle by Bradford Martin. Martin was Frisco's leading rusher with 86 yards. Reedy's AJ Padgett completed 12 of 22 passes for 133 yards and two interceptions.

Two turnovers were pass interceptions and really good play and position by Frisco DBs, the other two were fumbles both punched out balls. Frisco as mentioned was sloppy in first 1/2, 10 Penalties for 83 and Reedy declined some others. These schools are 1 mile apart and the kids on both sides know each other well all the way back to youth ball, so it got heated at times.

DCTF Week 6 7-5A DII predictions 5A DII Texarkana Texas (1-0) Denison (1-0) Texarkana Texas (1-0) favored by 12 5A DI Frisco Reedy (1-0) Frisco (1-0) Frisco (1-0) favored by 28 5A DII Frisco Lebanon Trail (1-0) Corsicana (1-0) Corsicana (1-0) favored by 18 5A DII Greenville (1-0) Frisco Liberty (0-1) Greenville (1-0) favored by 12 5A DII Frisco Memorial (0-1) Hallsville (0-1) Frisco Memorial (0-1) favored by 15 5A DI Frisco Centennial (0-1) Lake Dallas (1-0) Lake Dallas (1-0) favored by 3 5A DII Sulphur Springs (0-1) Lucas Lovejoy (1-0) Lucas Lovejoy (1-0) favored by 48 5A DII Princeton (0-1) South Garland (0-0) Princeton (0-1) favored by 11 I don't see Rock Hill scheduled this week. Most of the district is favored this week. Denison takes on the best opponent. Frisco takes on Reedy and is favored big, Reedy may be on a steady decline without the big class of transfers and coaches being spread across a 7-12 program. LT is wanting to test itself. Liberty is projected to lose by double digits. Memorial is starting to be favored against opponents and is wanting to go into district play on a winning streak. Lake Dallas is only favored by 3 against a Heritage. I've seen Heritage play this year and think LD will win by more. Lovejoy favored big. Still don't see the value of driving an hour and 15 minutes to blow out an undisciplined and chippy team. False sense of accomplishment??? This fiasco is all on the AD, he scheduled this the last two realignments... All last year's SS game taught us is that our S&C program needed a lot of improvement. Must be a hunting buddy and help with revenue. Princeton favored, again, over a hapless South Garland Denison was taken behind the woodshed. Texas High is big and good and will move up the rankings Frisco makes a statement and Reedy is what I thought they were without a host of "transfers", but still a solid win for Frisco. LT tested itself and showed out. LT is a playoff bubble team Liberty projected to lose by double digits instead won by double digits Memorial's game was canceled, but they play LT for next weeks GOTW LD loses by 18 to a mediocre Heritage squad Lovejoy didn't make the 48 point spread, but easily controlled the game. Backups looked good at the end and held their own. SS isn't a great program and LJ swept all contests from Freshmen to Varsity Princeton beat up on a hapless SG, but next week plays @ Lovejoy for LJ's Homecoming (without the usual Homecoming events), perhaps call it HomeCOVID.

Its not super crazy to start to think Texarkana could be the R3 favorite. A&M will have a say in things but I'd think those two are the front runners.

5A-2 R3 Contenders:
FB Marshall- Only scored 7 points in First game win but hard to believe that will continue. Nobody in their district will beat them.
Crosby, Barbers Hill, Nederland. I think one or two of these will start to show out after another game or two. Hate this late start.
Huntsville Defense looked awfully impressive this week vs Willis. A&M Consol.... I'm still undecided on them. Rudder is still a year or two away but are improving.
No Idea about the district 9 teams.

Unfortunately, the late start for 5A/6A will lower his final passing numbers. It's only a matter of time before the weather turns and the wind picks up. Also, so far Coach Ross is doing a good job of not running Rucker too much, and he is finally sliding (sometimes) instead of trucking people. The things Coach Ross says are true, and hopefully, his recruitment picks up. Eastern Kentucky apparently really liked the Lovejoy/JPII game. They offered 3 LJ players.
