www.texasfootball.com/article/2020/11/11/week-12-mega-preview-breaking-down-predicting-the-biggest-texas-high-school-football-games?ref=article_preview_titleFrisco (5-0, 3-0) at Denison (4-2, 2-1): The Raccoons have dominated District 7-5A Division II the past two seasons, but one team has had their number and that’s the Denison Yellowjackets. Frisco will have to make the trip up to Texoma this week as they try and remain undefeated against a very solid Denison squad. Frisco had last week off after their game against Princeton was canceled due to Covid-19 concerns in Princeton. They rolled past a much improved Frisco Liberty squad in their last outing on the strength of 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns from Bradford Martin and 61 receiving yards and a touchdown from Arkansas commit Chase Lowery. Denison has rattled off three straight district wins, including last week’s 56-34 win over Lake Dallas. DHS trailed early 10-0 and then went on a 42-7 run in the middle two quarters to put the game out of reach. RB Jadarian Price ran for 164 yards and three touchdowns, Asa Osbourne ran for 124 yards and three touchdowns and the Denison special teams provided a pair of touchdowns as well in the win. This one is going to be close, especially with the game being at Munson Stadium, where Denison is tough to beat. Frisco’s really making noise this year and they’ve got this one circled, they’ll find a way to get past a feisty Denison bunch in a close one. Stepp’s Pick: Frisco by 4 There can be only one. Someone’s “O” must go...

DCTF has Frisco +10 (line has moved a few times), and Calpreps has Frisco +7 on a neutral field.

Watched some film this week and honestly see special teams, turnover and momentum being huge. I’m also curious how conditions will play out in the second half. This game may have been decided in the offseason by which players were able to stay disciplined and work out without coaches and teammates pushing them or cheering them on.

Are Frisco’s final 2 games forfeits or no contests? I’ve seen them referred to as both and heard the DEC will meet again this week.

Are Frisco’s final 2 games forfeits or no contests? I’ve seen them referred to as both and heard the DEC will meet again this week. The games were no contests on the process of awarding W/L really not sure, i can only reference what the Princeton coach put out in a news release. He stated that at the end of the season the DEC would meet and the no contest games would have an outcome for district seeding. I am assuming the DEC would run a head to head vs other team model, point diff and award W/L based on that. I can tell you that the missing games absolutely stinks, FHS had one kid positive and had to shut it all down...

Would those games factor in for the District Championship or do they have to share the DC? Say if two teams had the same record (one loss), but team 1 beat team 2 while team 2 forfeited a game. I know team 1 is the W-District and team 2 is R-District, but are they Co-Champions as well?

The other scenarios don't apply as the two teams we missed have 1-9 records, no if they awarded two losses for no contest the it would move Frisco to 3ed
