Yep that’s a new school in Comal ISD, he was a great OC and will do very well down here (I live 10 minutes from the new school he’s going to). CP OC will be a job many people want if we don’t promote from with in, good time to switch OC’s with our Pocket Passer leaving and multiple receivers, we bring back a very good running QB and some good Running Backs as well with a couple O-Lineman. Wouldn’t be surprised if we are a more running style offense next year.

That is correct sir We are working on that new school for CISD and from what I'm being told from a few, we could be seeing SV back down in the 5a ranks when it is opened up.

Personally I think CISD should pull a page from the Frisco ISD and keep their high schools at the 5A level.

They had to spend a TON of money rebuilding and adding on to both SV and Canyon HS in the past 10 years so they slipped a little behind with building the new HSs but are now playing catch up. With the area size of Comal ISD if it were built out they could have enough high schools to field 2 complete districts of football teams. I was told they'd easily have 14-15 high schools if they built out.

I’m out here by Canyon Lake, it’s amazing how much growth there is all over the county, it’s going up fast too, CISD has gone from 3 to 5 High schools fast wouldn’t be surprised to see another 2 in the next 5 years go up

As much as I've loved living in Calallen and cheering on the Wildcats for 26 years now, an acre or two in that area is begging for our name. I love the Texas Hill Country and that area because it's close to Austin and San Antonio. Good food, wine and brew to be had as well! It might be another four years before we can build, but will getting the land much sooner here.. I hope.

I think one is supposed to be go out west of 281 on TX 46 going toward Boerne. Not sure about the other one.... Maybe north on 281 getting close to the Blanco area?

And to think that just 30 years ago you could have bought all that cedar and rock you wanted for under $1k/acre
