I did something really stupid. I started mowing my yard without first removing the water hose running through it. Can you guess where I'm going with this? Can I safely meddle with removing the tangled-mess-of-a water hose from the blade without chopping my arms off?

Sure, use a box cutter or something sharp to remove the hose if it is reallly mangled....you can pull the plug wire just for safetys sake.

So there's no built-up kinetic energy that will chop off my arms as soon as I free the blades from the clutches of the evil water hose?

No...but with the spark plug wire off the spark plug, it will not be able to run, promise.

What's a spark plug wire and how do I remove it?
Just playing, I'll give it a try.

They have experience with discovering things in their yards with their lawn mowers.....hoses, bikes, old appliances, '83 Camaros, and the occasional motor home
