FB JV slaughtered King 40 to 0. I think FB is the team to beat on JV level.

FB JV slaughtered King 40 to 0. I think FB is the team to beat on JV level. I was a little surprised at the total domination because King had plenty of players with size and speed. But domination is a good description. Six different Hornets scored in the first half then they ran the clock the whole second half. I was glad about that for a couple of reasons. One there was no need to prolong the thing and two it was way hot out there. Hopefully JD will give his report and post some photos. I love the way the FB fans are showing up and supporting these guys out there giving it all they have. They showed up like always hot as hades or not.

That was a great crowd FBfan! Practically the whole varsity was there taking it in and it was good to see all the coaches on the field helping out. We probably had 8 kids running the ball and as FBFan said, 6 different ones scoring TD's. It's a shame they called Charles out of bounds on his long run...he was taking it to the house! I was just told they are going to play the Ben Bolt varsity on Thursday. I guess the sophomores will play the Rockport JV. This ought to be a good test for the boys and they are excited about it.

Im number 67 on jv, I play defensive tackle. Charles did have a good run, I was right there watching his feet the whole time and he never stepped out.

Looked that way to us then I ran into him at half just comming off the field and he was sure he didn't step out. I just told him good run and hey, you got your TD anyway.

Thanks Clem...yes, he will be there soon! He's just a freshman so he still has a little growing to do as well! There is another freshman playing JV and then one starting at CB on the varsity team. That class has some athletes in it, that's for sure!

Here is the other freshman RB...this is the speedster! He ran a 10.67 time in the 100m this summer...better than anyone at the 31-4A varsity level. He just needs to bulk up a bit and will be hard to stop at the next level.

Might be a little tougher week for the Bluff JV...they travel to Ben Bolt on Thursday to play their varsity who is ranked #14 in Div 1A state. You think a 4A JV team should be able to compete with a state ranked Varsity 1A school?
