Great job yesterday by these kids in a very, very good hard fought game between two pretty damn equal teams.
The big RB stepped up at the end and finally ran with power like I'd been wanting to see from him. I remember watching him play QB 2 years ago I believe and thought to myself, man he is a good sized kid but just doesn't seem to run with much power. Yesterday as well he seems to stop moving his feet in traffic and not keep those legs moving but at the end of the game he lowered his should a couple times and brought it.
Great defense by both teams I thought and very solid play by both.

Hope Jaylon Mascorro follows Trace Mascorro and Coby Herring to UTEP. Their all good friends and they make good grades. Having friends around will help with the home sickness. The number 7 Da Mond Lafond is going to UH for baseball he throws the fastball at camps 94 mph. After he had Tommy John surgery on his throwing arm, at 6 3" and 195 lbs would make a great strong safety. He makes good grades also. A freshman throws the baseball 91 at camps has all ready committed to TCU for baseball will be the future qb.

Years ago I remember a QB from Woodsboro that was named Avery that went to A&I. Any relation to Jacobe?
