Ive never seen a city that lives off summer tourism dollars try to ban everything under the sun to keep the tourist out. This is just a back door ban on alcohol simple as that. Time to float a keg in a raft and drink from the hose.

The ban is only for within NB's city limits, right? Seems like economic suicide to me.

I don't believe these folks here in NB have not ever heard the phrase........'don't bite the hand that feeds you'! MORONS! C5, yes, I do believe it is only for the portions of the Guadalulpe river within the city limits which very well may become an issue within itself since many tube the last section of river from crossing #4 to the Gruene river bridge. I don't think the 4th crossing (put in location) is within the city limits, but the Gruene River bridge (get out location) IS!!!!!!! Stupid, just down right flippin stupid on these councilpeople's part!

Thats why I said use a raft not a tube to float. 6 man raft with a keg. But mi sure they will get me cause it will not fit in a 12"x12" ice chest. Time to hit up San Marcos or the Frio out in Leakey.
