Speaks well when two teams from reg 4 are from the same district and playing for the right to represent the region at the state tournament. I can only see 30-5A getting stronger with the addition of the former 6A schools. Carroll & King have good programs and Vets will only get stronger each year.

Region 4 should be solid next year in baseball and softball. The Angleton boys made it far also and the girls are still in it. 5A should see some great match ups next year also.

Angleton athletics have done great this year and the girls softball team is playing some very good ball at this time. Any time your team makes the state tournament you know you"ve got a special group of athletes.

Lots of kids come back QB was a freshman and the RB a sophomore that really turned it on. 8 guys return on that defense and they should be really ready to make a run next year. The Basketball team lost to the team that lost in the title game and they return 4 out of the 5 starters. The soccer team I think went to regional also and the boys baseball team only lost one district game and made a good run in baseball. And the girls are still in it. All in all a very solid year for the program.

Legacy Sports Network will be broadcasting the State 5A semi-final softball game on June 3rd @ 9:00am. At this point I have not heard of a local GP station that is broadcasting the game.
