Heartbreaking. Good luck to the seniors Agreed heartbreaking, but you cannot win many games scoring one run in two games and giving away others to your opponent. Give credit to Ray and good luck to them and all the seniors. For the guys coming back hopefully we will see some improvement next year. It looks obvious that Gaddis must have been hurt to not pitch at all in the last two series, nothing being said it though. The other guys did a good job which shows we should probably utilize more arms during the regular season. Pitching was not the problem in this series. Lack of bigs hits and errors were our down fall.

It was heartbreaking for Cal. But it was good for Ray and good for the district. Dominance by one team and lack of competition Sours the fans and sours the attendance at games.

I'm very interested to see how Moody hits Asa Lacy. We are about to find out if Moody's #1 ranking was justified.

Justified? Last I check Saenz is a pretty good lefty also and they hit him in two games.

I go back to what I posted awhile back about when this season ends. To sum it up, the old saying all positions are open next season needs to be embraced and followed as it should of been going back a few seasons now. Too long gone from the state tourney after almost living there in the late 90's to 2011 is not a good sign and something different needs to be tried. Going back to some of the basic building blocks of what made the program great leading up and during those years would be good start towards getting back to Round Rock. The old timers around here know what those building blocks are and it might look like radical today , but it worked.
