So , every once in a while someone's looking for a new head coach. Adrian Alaniz is back at Sinton where he led them to their 3rd title in Baseball. Sinton has always been known as having great baseball and football Coaching so you would get someone who was taught well. Played college ball as a Texas Longhorn and had a brief MLB career. He is the pitching coach at Sinton. I remember reading about those young Sinton arms this year? Coach Alaniz is someone I would look at very seriously . Never met him. If anyone else has some suggestions about anyone else or about Coach Alaniz please let us know...

Sinton baseball is in very good hands. They obviously had a good succession plan ready to go.

Cedar Park needs a new Head Coach in Baseball as Connie Cochran retired after this season. The current Assistant Baseball Coach Carl Abseck is also the Assistant Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He's probably one of two people to be considered for the CP Head Football coaching job due to Willis' departure. I really don't see him doing both head coaching jobs! I'd like to see the CP Administration bring in a new face as Baseball HC. Of course, he'd also have to know about Football too... as Cochran was also a position coach in Football.

Not sure if I mentioned this before - but Cochran was the baseball coach at Calallen for 1 year before Chapman took over
