It didn't live up to the hoopla. Refugio 1st team 4 to FC 0 no first downs. Score final 6 to 0. Refugios 3 QBs looked good. The Jv Qb played with the Varsity and did a heck of a job. Its just the first scrimmage, this team could be better than the last 5 years. The O line only replaced 1 guy, the D swarmed, and excellent play by Wrs with finger tip catches. Refugio scrims Yoakum next in Refugio. Game to see #1 Refugio vs #3 3a Cameron Yoe in Refugio. Stadium seats over 6000

Since moving down a class, What is the talk of the town? I'm sure you guys are excited about playing in a tougher district.

Since moving down a class, What is the talk of the town? I'm sure you guys are excited about playing in a tougher district. Glad to be playing a stronger district even though its not 3a. Refugios Coach said "this may be the best team of the last 5 years" was hoping Fall City would push the cats, it didn't happen. Will have to see how the team does with Yoakum. Refugios excited about this year, I would like to see Refugio play up. We have some kids that can play good ball, any injuries it gets real thin quick, that's what you get with the small numbers. Play the big boys and compete get a few injuries and you cant keep up with the small boys. |

3a East Bernard 9 to 4a Needville 1, EB is clicking. Refugio wont be in EBs way, good chance to be playing in Arlington.
