Talking for Corpus. I have been using TWC for ISP. I have DirecTV and do not want to change that. So who beats TWC for ISP and cost please. Thanks.

Out here in Calallen it is pretty much Time Warner or nothing. Grande doesn't come out this far. Verizon services a good majority of the Calallen area, but doesn't offer DSL. So other than that, your options are wireless via all the Cellular companies or Satellite which cost and and a leg from what I understand.
It would be nice for Google to come and do their thing like they are doing in Austin and somewhere in Kansas with Google Fiber. We've been used as test market down here before little some people know with different cell signals and were ahead of many areas at getting 3G and 4G when they made their debuts.

www.broadbandmap.gov/Just FYI ISP and cable companies bid on plots to acquire all the service rights. Example: I live in an apartment complex where TWC and AT&T both "provide" services. Its just that TWC has a deal with the complex where they are the sol provider for internet & cable. This is the same for new(er) home developments as well. Some HOA's even have a exclusive deals with satellite companies too.

I Hate time warner. They are threatening to put something on my credit for "unreturned" equipment. I returned it and have a freaking receipt to prove it!
