I'm going on vacation (i.e. going to work for my wife) for the next week. Lets have some interesting threads going on when I get back. Get some things stirred up, maybe. I'm Out.

I took a vacation with the wife far away from Honey Do's... A so-called 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise to Roatan Island, Honduras; Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico. What a rude awakening with this Cold Front this morning after 70's to 90's all last week. Sunday to Sunday is 8 days on my Calendar. I'll agree with 7 Nights.

we went on a Saturday-Saturday cruise once. After about 2 days I did not know what day it was! We really enjoyed the crusie, but 7 days was enough. I dont know if I would like a 14 day cruise. We went to Alaska, truly an amazing place. If you havn't been, you ought to check it out.
What really amazed me was how fast they turn those ships around. Get thousands of passengers off, take on stores, get thousands of passengers on, all in a few hours.

You can go all out and get an Ocean view Cabin with Balcony on an upper deck or you can go conservative and get a very inexpensive lower deck inside cabin. Shop and save. My last cruise dropped from $2,500 for my wife and I on an upper deck ocean view cabin with balcony, down to $1,550 by the time we sailed. There were Inside lower deck cabins for less than $400 for two. It was a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise.

Cheap, but it's like sleeping in a closet with no windows and pitch dark. We did that once, but the second time and for future cruises we will always get a cabin with a balcony. A Mediterranean cruise is the next one on our list then a cruise in Southeast Asia. Both good ways to see a whole bunch of those regions and relative good price and sometimes if you shop the market right, you can get good deals on the cruise and airfare.
