I appreciate all you have done for the longhorns football program. It's just simply time in my opinion. We don't need Saban to get better.. We need someone who will be able to make players improve to the best of their potentional. We could've would've should've had Jameis Winston, Johnny football and many more great athletes wearing burnt orange, instead.. You have let those opportunities slip through you're fingers. Case and point.. Green-beckham. C'mon Mack. Just peacefully step down. It's time!! And I hope that either Swoopes or heard will start next year. Regardless of who the coach is.. I can't stand ash or McCoy. Hook em!!

Swoopes not the answer at qb. He won't cut the mustard. Hopefully the 2015 qb will be a better option

I told everyone after the OU game that he was gonna stay. Everyone thought I was crazy. I knew that winning the red river rivalry would make the boosters happy. I had talked to a couple of booster guys, and their thoughts were beating OU is greater than winning the Big 12.... I slightly understand the sentiment because being a TM fan I can assure you that if a coach went 1-9 every year but that one win was Calallen, they'd never fire him. Do I agree? not at all, I think it should be all about the success of a program not just 1 game. Now that Saban has signed until 2020 with Bama, and since most of the elite coaches, if not all, have signed long term deals recently to stay put, I think Texas's only option is to keep him or go for a no name that will not draw the big talent.
