Coach Thomas is now aware of the play. He viewed it last night after it was brought to his attention on Twitter. He acknowledged it was cheap and dirty. He also responded by saying that it wasn't an indication of who Danbury is, he was embarrassed and it would be dealt with.

#73 was fortunate the hit was from behind and the knee bent in the right direction. From that angle you'll usually end up with just a sore knee and not much else. He felt pain above and below so the knee brace did its job in distributing the impact throughout his leg and it wasn concentrated solely on his knee. Had the hit come from the side it could have been worse.
