Eric Mitchell who caught the winning pass was at Lexington last year and his mother who is a Coach was hired by Lago Vista. He was a Defensive Back at Lexington. Troy who is Coached by Coach Siebert is in the playoffs for the first time by beating Lago Vista may meet again in the playoffs. Troy lost big to Cameron Yoe. EricMitchell is grandson of Warren and Carol Hellums Putsjovsky Formerly of Sinton and cousin of Lamar Hellums of Portland. Port Lavaca offered his mother a job and she went to PL and turned it down. His father played Football at Howard Payne and spent a couple of seasons in the NFL.
