Everyone knows that rain soaked fields slows a offense. "If" you meet up with Dananher this year he will take you behind the woodshed. King, you say you know the slot-t offense? If you do, then you know it is predicated on timing, and a wet field will disrupt it. Both offenses AND defenses had to play in the bad weather, so you point is irrelevant. In fact, most of your posts are. I can't wait until we bend you guys over on your own turf this year. Don't dispute this. Alice would have beaten us in the Mojave Desert on that day. But I do think if we meet up this year in the playoffs, the incentive is there for more than one reason to reverse the outcome.

I can guarantee everybody here one thing. Calallen has a bunch of returning starters, Danaher has a long memory and I don't care how many people who thinks he is an egotistical A-hole (myself included), he is a great coach and there is gonna be hell to pay from the teams he lost to last year.

In 09 Calallen whipped Alice at home , Soza's first year, and celebrated like they won state. It was payback for the '08 celebration when Alice beat Calallen. But in 08 , Alice came back in that game and was the first Alice team to beat Calallen, so yeah they were gonna celebrate!! But as much as I've seen that match up, Danaher never tried to embarras/run up the score on purpose against Whatley or else Whatley would cuss his ass out in front of people I'm sure.. Lol But on Soza, wow, who goes verticle with 3 min left winning by 7 tds??? yeah no love loss there, you can tell. So by Alice winning a couple of games vs cal the last 5 years, it be great to meet up with them this year and see if we can make this into a rivalry for them. Cuz if you bleed burnt orange, Calallen IS our rival.. Just an opinion

They made so many mistakes early on and Calallen capitalized on all of them. Price had a career night.

So what does Alice have coming back? What Talent is going to fill the voids left behind from the last years seniors? I sure hope that the Coyotes do well so that the Alice fans dont disappear

I sure hope that the Coyotes do well so that the Alice fans dont disappear We have players in the trenches returning on both sides of the ball, fullback linebacker and a DB, plus some skill players that saw some action last year. Add to that a great group of players from our J.V. and Freshman squads. King, you need to worry more about who y'all have returning more than anything. Other than Bisby? not much I would guess. Who is going to block for him? G.P.'s sub varsities weren't exactly stellar last year.

And for reasons only he knows, Soza is quoted as saying this years Alice team will be better despite the loss of so many starters. For a team that relies solely on Bisby when your playing good teams, maybe you should worry more about your own team.

GP had over 5200 yards last year bisby had 2300. So I guess the 2900 other yards were fictitious? Lol. We have some big strong kids that will fill in. Plus some new coaches with healthy resumes. Bibles Geiser Starcher White are a few names who will be making plenty of yards this year running over Alice. Also got a 6'4'' 270 transfer move in and he will be just fine.

Who's going to block for those guys. Y'all lost your OL, and it doesn't look like there is anything coming up the pipeline. G.P's defense wasn't exactly stellar last year either. Again, nothing coming up the pipeline judging the play of the sub varsities.

In his own words to me he said we won't have any D-1 scouts looking at us, but we're going to be fine.
