I know, but I'm seriously just wondering. One of these Laredo fans did their own state top 10 and had Laredo Martin #10.

I personally feel Martin is a shoe string type of player. Non after contact yards. Fast and elusive definitely. Needs some beef.

Needs some beef. www.hudl.com/team/11019/rosterMartin was a soph last year and averaged just over 9 yards per carry with 77 carries. Gains was also a soph and is a full back. Click the link for some highlights.

My guess is he will start out on the J/V, and be on the varsity team by years end.

Yards after contact is what impresses you because you back a team whose entire season rides on whether or not Bisby can break a million tackles again. Next year you'll be singing a different tune.

I know you will see what you want to see and try to run them down as that is your style but the FB was pointed out for the YAC role. Like I said they were SO last year in those high lights and will be juniors this year. Looking forward to watching them and all the Hornets have another great year.

Yep pretty sure he will be JV. God forbid injuries to change things but he is behind a lot of talent SO - Seniors.

He isn't going to overpower a defender, but he can sure run a lot faster than 99% of them. FB instituted a JUMBO package for short yardage last year and I bet they continue to use that again this year. Mason Carrell lined up as FB and bulldozed whoever was in front of him. There will be lots of YAC with this jumbo package if that is what people want to see.

That was fun to watch as we knew what was coming and so did the other team after the first time and it did not matter.
