The defense dominated . Here's a thought. This is th e best defense we've had in a number of years. We have speed size and strenth across the board as well as depth. Especially in the secondary. Easily on paper and fron the looks of spring ball the best wevee had since. Maube 09?

Bottom line is this, no names have been mentioned and the kids know, if they don't perform, they don't play. That's not news. One you have to realize, if you saw the spring game, the defenses dominated. That is unusual for a Calhoun spring game. The ball carriers were tackled BEHIND the line of scrimmage. It's not news to the kids and their tender little feeling are not going to be hurt. As for talking news of transfers. The transfers happen to be linemen. I Lets look at it another way. I hope that if your in the forum, you are pulling and wanting Calhoun to win. Why don't we discuss what needs to happen to make that happen. It's time Calhoun makes those undefeated seasons and count for something in the play offs. One of the things that needs to happen for that to occur is a dominant offensive line. So again, what can we do to win, rather than try to figure out who i am, or what number and position my kid plays. I am for Calhoun more than you will ever know. Your comment in the earlier post did not just include lineman.

Heard Calhoun went to the Abilene 7 on 7 tournament and had great success, number one seed going into the semi's scoring 161 points. Not to bad with the schools that were there.(Odessa, midland lee, Abilene high, temple, and so on. Than at the corpus tournament was the first weekend after champion's course started the boys didn't have any legs. Not bad for a triple option team. congrads...

Obvious that anything posted will become a source of friction. So best just keep it positive. Not going to get into a pissing match with 04 over trivial stuff about who knows more, what and who said it first. thisreally doesnt mean a hill of beans when it's time to hit the field. 04, drink a beer, and remember we are pulling for the same team. I post information that is reliable and informative for those interested in reading it, Not to argue!!
As for the coaches, they dont read or give a crap what is posted on these sites, the kids read it, but the coaches could give a flying rats ass what we think or say. Trust me on that one.
04, just relax man, we are pulling for the same outcome. Not goin to argue over this stuff. Lets be positive and not critique eachother. We are on the same team so to speak.

Lol I would love to know your source. Alice even beat PLC in a 7 on 7 tournament and Alice is a slot-t team.

Calhoun did great for their first year trying to qualify in the 7 on 7 good work for the DB'S everyone knows Calhoun is a running team. Calhoun has their QB and RB who made the Dave Cambells top 300 players list coming back although Cory was listed as DB and they also have a lineman transfer who made the top 300 list , who you can take a look at on Calhouns forum plus one other surprise lineman transfer who are just going to make Calhouns offense more explosive. I hope we have a chance to make the playoffs and maybe meet up with the teams that think we are so weak.... Here is a article of Calhouns wins at the Abilene 7 on 7............... www.ktxs.com/sports/7-on-7-football-sqt-abilene-scoreboard/-/14769664/20584918/-/12otnryz/-/index.html

And since Abilene advanced to the finals obviously the 60-33 score is the correct one. While it looks good to say you were in a tournament in Abilene, the reality is you probably faced better competition in the local tournament you were in here in Corpus. Odessa High is picked to finish 8th in their district and Lakeview, I'm assuming it's San Angelo Lakeview because they are in that area, is picked to finish last in their district. But your source did prove my point which is that the other guy was way wrong saying that PLC was the #1 seed in that Abilene tournament. That's all I was questioning.

Damn!!! The kid is a beast! Wish E-E would get some BIG linemen transfers or some speedsters... but who wants to play or work at a middle of nowhere mid-valley community south of corpus (aka northern mexico)..lol Seriously, getting those beasts just makes PLC even more dangerous and E-E knows it!! I hope we get to see at least one move E-E vs PLC matchup before realignment..always amazing football between the two..
