Most Proms are done with. FB's two best athletes choose football over prom. Tell's you what's important to them. If I didn't respect Flour Bluff, its program and its talent - I sure do now. Maybe the UIL should do away with stand around. Alleviate's two problems - Everyone know's most volunteer dad's are better coaches, and Shriners don't have to worry about scheduling All-Star game.

Just "too" cute. There are more than three dates to choose from so don't be silly. "Everyone know's most volunteer dad's are better coaches." More silliness. But it is a fact that those who think they know it all are the most likely to be missing things they should be learning. No one ever learned anything when they were talking.

I personally only know two male coaches (of all sports) in this area who think they know it all - both are highly successfull head football coaches. Both too like to hear themselves talk. But I know hundreds of dad's who I wouldn't necessarily say they think they know it all, just know more than the coach. They don't. It's kind of like being a kid. You figure out how smart your dad was, once you become one.

Not all Coaches know everything and not all Coaches are great. Not all Dad's and Fans know everything, but some do know more than those that are coaching.

I don't think any of them want to walk in my shoes. I have played and coached over the past 45 years, in between being shot at and blown up. I do have my successes and my defeats. I know that I never stop learning. I know I am associated with some very fine fans that do happen to know a lot about the game of football. There are those that keep doing the same thing over and over with similar results without realizing that sometimes you have to change things in order to expect different results.
