As opposed to being obsessed with posting 31-25-1 to save face? As FB Fan says, those grandpas would be proud to still be in the conversation today. j/k Calallen will be young. I'm predicting 9-11 wins this year. A lot of die hard fans were bellyaching about the team last year before the season and they ended up a pleasant surprise. The team will go as far as Preston's learning curve takes them. Kind of a lot of pressure to put on one kid, but he fits the mold of past great QBs we've had. Fast, shifty, and we'll see about the arm. Kind of wonder what Danaher will come out with at the beginning of the year. Will he just stay in the spread or come out mixing it up like the remainder of last season, following the GP game.

I am very excited for this season! I think we'll do ALOT better than most predict, but obviously I'm biased. We have several on defense returning who will be a force to reckon with this year and 2 amazing athletes who were only freshmen last year returning as sophomores this season. We’ve got 2 boys in particular who will be very elusive running the ball and 2 big talented boys on the OL giving them all the space they need to run, run, run. I’m pretty confident this will be an incredible year for the Wildcats! Go Cats Go!!!

Gee Pee is going to be SOLID. Move over TM! and you accuse GP fans of being obsessive about calallen! Why dont you talk about your own team? Just responding to your Peep. We are going to be OK, but we will be rusty to begin the season as we have to find our footing in some areas. I am confindent we will. Nice to see the boys out there early in the morning as I pass by the school going to work.

FB should be 2-0 vs Calallen over the past two years and go 3-0 after this season. I guess we will have to settle for 2-1 since the Zebras had to make a difference in the game from 2010. Calallen posters can fire back all they want, but FB shutdown Calallen the second half of the 2010 game. 0 points in the 3rd and 4th Quarters. Calallen would not have scored in overtime. Flour Bluff owned the second half of that game. the Zebras made the difference in Overtime.

I too believe Cal will do better this year then what people think. they lost some really good players at key positions....but with that coaching staff Cal is allways a team to be reckoned with.

Nothing really to fire at, same story every day. lol Surely you learned that playing the woulda coulda shoulda is useless, is it not? lol Perhaps it's a moral victory? You all lost. Game over. If you all would have played a full 4 quarters it wouldn't have been in the refs hands, now would it? The other 47 minutes and 59 seconds were relevant too, not just that moment in time. It was a great game in what has become an extremely competitive game. Don't dishonor the whole game and the effort of Calallen's team by pinning the entire victory on the call of the officials.
