This, IMO, is the defacto 2a D2 state title game. These are the best two teams in the state in D2 this year........and not by just a little IMO. I can see a really, really close game here through 2 1/2 - 3 quarters with the Bobcats pulling away for the win in the 4th. I do think this will be the best D Refugio has seen this year but I just don't know if EB has the offense to beat Refugio. The only way I see EB winning is if they can go +2 in TO and they themselves have less then 2 TOs. Refugio 35 EB 24-28 Hughes Springs Elysian Fields Co City Sonora Nocona Corsicana Mildred None of these other 6 teams are in the same class as EB or Refugio. The winner of this game wins STATE |

I think I'm going up early to watch this one. i would love to see this game. I'm definitely going to this one and will probably head South on Saturday to the Alamodome while the girls hit the outlet mall before our game. Gruene Hall will come into play somehow! |

She told me to go and overdose on Football. i am planning to go up friday get a room then play a round of golf early saturday and catch a couple of games early at alamo dome i will be open and freeeeeee. get an itinerary and we can all gather up and support some teams, Stiffy you mention about going up lets play a round, i found a course in san marcos or go into SA |

Gruene Hall will come into play somehow! Head south to the alamo dome to watch madison/oc at noon and steele/brandeis at 4. You can leave early if need be and make your game easily. You can make it from downtown SA to SM in about 40 min. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated. Brandies is the real deal and Steele will have their hands plenty full Saturday afternoon. |

Alot has been said Refugio hadnt played anyone in preseason,Refugio 62 Ingleside 27. Ingleside played El Campo to a close game 20 to 31, Ingleside lost without 5 defensive starters out. Refugio did hit the first game of the season in midseason form. Is it because of the matchup of the teams or can you go by comparing scores, or a little of both?

I broke the news to my better half I was spending all day at the Dome Saturday. You should have seen the look I got when she said everyone was goin to the River Walk after our game to look at lights! I told her the lights would be there til the first of the year......these games only happen once! ROFLMAO |

Bobcat stadium holds 30,000, would like to see at least 15,000 their. This game has the making of something special, some really good tallent on both sides of the ball.
