Maybe you guys should learn how to use the 'quote function' on here! OMG, you are killing me! LMAO I agree with the post talking about Tivy's schedule vs LT's! Tivy's was tough, LT's was tougher. And you are right about Tivy's wins over Mad & Steele. They were both quality wins, the Madison one more so then the Steele one! The reason I say this is because Madison peeks in week 0 to week 5, Steele doesn't get after it until week 11! If Tivy and Steele would have squared off in week 11, I'd have bet the house on a different outcome! Trust me, I know Tivy got better throughout the year, but Steele was not even close to the same team in the regular season as they were during the playoffs! I'm very much looking forward to the Steele/Tivy game this year. Tivy has owned Steele's azz for the past 3 years. That may just continue with the game being week 3 this year and that would not bother me at all because there is only 6 games that actually count............they start in week 11! Also, I know we will have another great shootout to watch win or lose! Somebody butchard the html brackets and messed it all up.

Here we go again. Step back and cool down. LOL...it's no problem bud...nobody ever accused y'all of knowledgeable football talk or talking strategies. It is what it is and y'all are best at one upping and run in packs. Booger just needs to lay the Cal Allen Law down and the cycle is complete. While I can mod, I don't, leave it to those specifically given the duty. And please, let's not be hypocritical with knowledgeable football talk. Rumors, lies, and vicarious victories in our losses is hardly football knowledge.

You really need to look in the Mirror before pointing fingers. I'm trying not to argue with you, but you always think you are more knowledgeable then anybody else on this board.

LOL again, one merely need to look at the content of their posts to see what they're "worried" about. Silly. And I just stated my opinion at why we might be overrated in the DC Poll..... It must be getting close to football season. aren't yall an NFC team? you will get the packers in the NFC championship, noit the superbowl

I would have to agree with you. Taking 4 teams in a 6 team district seems kind of silly to me. Waters down the playoffs for sure. I wonder what is the furthest a #3 or # 4 ever advanced in the playoffs? Anybody know that stat? On the other had, it does give us a couple of extra games, and the kids can say, when they are crusty old farts like us, "we went to the playoffs every year back in the day" Maybe we should just add another couple of weeks and everybody goes? La Marque was #4 in 24-4A (Region III) and made it to the 4A Div II State Finals 2010. We know what Aledo did to them (Johnathan Gray). Not sure if any 5A or 4A #4's have won it all??? I know in the 90's both Texas City and La Marque won the 4A Div I & II State Championships from the same District. Texas City won the District that year.

We are changing our focus from our first district game to..........the Green Bay Packers and Superbowl 46. We apparently have been selling ourselves short in the goals department. Nice smart ass reply. Quit bellyaching, 83. My point is that Calallen's goal setting has been quite successful lately as far as GP is concerned. Not likely we would be taking much goal setting advice from you. Nothing personal. It's ok to have dreams.

I have a dream that one day, all football teams, whether Red and Blue or maroon & white or black & white or orange will all come together with understanding that each is worthy in their own right. Their fans are all entitled to their own opinions, to be freely shared, that no man, regardless of team affiliation will feel the need to belittle another to make his team seem larger. Yea brother, I have a dream....

Yea brother, I have a dream.... That will never happen with all these I know more than any Coach fans all of our schools have. It amazes me we don't have more State Championships to go along with all of this knowledge.
