I'm worried about Lake Travis...you're nothing. Yes, the content of yall's posts bear that out. More worried about a school you'll likely never face due to enrollment? We're worried about future competitiveness as opposed to none representativeness (0-28)

As in not being competitive since 1971? 7 Semi's since...what's not competitiveness? You used the SC as the measure. When it backfires you change the parameters?

i agree about the underclass football teams. not a good measuring stick. some of the kids are very in expierienced or usually on the team just to be there, especially on the jv squads. but u look at ur freshman and 8th grade squads.. u can tell a bit better where the skills lie I agree with you somewhat, but the 2009 group of seniors at the Bluff went 1-9 when they were in 8th grade and ended up as undefeated district champs their senior year. My son's 8th grade class had the same record...1-9 losing some games by 40+ points. Last year, they were 5-5 as freshmen and never lost a game by more than 6 points. I think some kids mature a little later than others and that makes a big difference in their level of play in 8th grade. T-M's 8th graders won district last year...and we all know how that program pans out in high school.

Lets see. LT plays #1, #4 and # 11 in the regular season along with Westlake. Probably will see #6 in round two of the playoffs. Anyone else got a schedule like this? I don't think anyone has had as tough a schedule as LT has had for the past 3 years. And to win 4 straight State Championships speaks loudly. No matter on how well LT does with this tough schedule, they will be ready to run the table in the playoffs again. Only two tough losses in 2010 to Top 10 teams Aledo and Cedar Park. LT got revenge in the playoffs with CP. I am sure all of Texas HS Football is looking forward to the LT vs. Aledo game in Aledo this September.

My little brother's team absolutely sucked 7th - 9th grade. 0-16 in middle school and maybe a couple wins as a freshman. His senior year they went 10-3 and lost in the 4th round to some scrubs from around N Corpus somewhere! LMAO Kids definately mature at different rates and that is a fact. Heck in 7th grade we played a team from the south side of SA that was 98% hispanic and about 1/2 of them had mustaches and beards!!!!!! They beat us pretty bad that year yet we managed to beat them in 8th grade and by the time we were in HS we man-handled them!

[ .
I'm worried about Lake Travis...you're nothing.
Seems to me you might want to worry about winning 30-4A first. Didn't you kind of get it handed to by one of your district foes? 42-25...
