Early word is Cory has a bruised knee and could come back in if needed. It didn't look good at first. This isn't official, just what I've heard. He had 1 carry for 50 yds. That was the 2nd play for PLC. West has some speed and we'll need to make some adjustments if we going to shut them out in 2nd half.

West has come a long way. They will be tough to beat next week for Calallen if our offense is still struggling. Calhoun played a good game hope Cory's knee is OK until he gets a Xray who knows. VW offense was confusing Calhoun's defense with there miss direction plays given us a taste of our own medicine. We had to many missed tackles they have some speed at running back once they break the line of scrimmage. I was really impressed with VW tonight they just could not stop Calhoun's offense even with Cory out of the line up. I loved that Calhoun stuffed them at the 1 yard line on third and fourth down at the end of the game they wanted to score another touchdown bad.. I saw the interview on Victoria news after the game and the VW coach said they are going to work on fixing their little mistakes and if they do they could beat any team in this district that is big words for a coach who could not stop Calhoun's offense and was given the ball twice on fumbles and still could not win or maybe he just meant all the other teams they have to play in district...... ;D

We again have fumbleitis. We lose 2 of them and get back on 2 more.
VW surprised me. They have that offense looking pretty good. We made a few tweaks at half and hold them to 7 in the second half. All in all a good game by both teams. Calhoun just too physical up front for West. Our only punt was late in 4th quarter when we ran 3 plays up middle and they did a good job of crashing them.
1 question for you refs out there. Balls on the 19. Pass interference in the end zone. Where do you spot the ball? I thought half the distance, but refs didn't.

Calhoun did prove last night that even without there star fullback they are hard to stop and can still win Hunter Boerm running for almost 260 yards last night and about 470 total rushing for the sandcrabs..............

Impressive night for that prolithic offense of PLC's. I sure hope the stars align for us to play each other. I think it would be an exciting game to watch and one the kids would love to play.
