And just what was the lesson to learn on Friday, 10/12/2012? We learned that PLC is a damn good football team and that our D needs a lot of work. We also learned that it's hard to win a game against a quality opponent without your starting QB and your best defensive player. Could Flour Bluff beat Calallen or Calhoun without Mims or their best defensive player? I seriously doubt it! Excuses don't fare well on here. Flour Bluff knows all about having key personnel out. Just look at 2011 where 8 Starters were out at one time. That Flour Bluff team still made the playoffs and beat GP.

Anybody want to post videos of runningbacks so we can all critique the running style? Right after catfromwayback and I post videos comparing penis size.

Not sure about this game. Should determine the D1 champion.
G-P has to do a couple of things correctly to have a chance at winning.
Defense: G-P has to tackle correctly, not arm tacling not leaving thier feet. G-P needs to Run through thier tackles and wrap up. I know that Calallen will pass more than showed in the past. They also will spread the field and run up the middle on QB draws.
Offense: G-P has to utilize all out weapons and diversify our game plan. Having Brandonn back will open up our passing game. Tanner is a great athelete but Brandon it the team leader. Bisby had 35 carries in PLC and he looked like he wasnt even tired after the game. I expect him to have 20 plus friday.
G-P is at home on our sandy lump that we love. In fact G-P Juniors (GPYFL) beat the Calallen Cowboys and the Calallen Steelers on it Saturday.

I can agree with you 81 without a couple of senior leaders it's tough to win. I still think this year the outcome would have been the same for GP. Big game for GP this week good luck, and hopefully injury free.

G-P will never win another District championship untill the Coaches can learn to stop the VEER with our Defense. Im telling You PLC is the best Program in the area besides Refugio. Flour Bluff, we Apologize To the Starving Pygmies Down There in New Guine. That ain't right...

The key for Calallen is to come out and get some good rythm on offense like they did against TM. I don't know if we would have played offense like that against PLC if we would have beaten them at the end, but it sure as heck would have kept our defense of the field a little longer and in a better position to slow down PLC even further as they would have been allowed some time to catch their breath. I 'm pretty sure we could have beaten the Bluff with that effort. Whatever happened during the off week paid off against a much improved TM team.
Got keep Schilable at the controls from here on out and I think McCurely should be the second option at QB.
