Now that T-M has shown they are a program on the rise, how do you think this district will finish and who will be in the playoffs. PLC appears to be the Big Dog on the block, but what about the next 3? We will know more next week and G-P can always upset the Crabs. It may end up being a crazy finish if T-M and VW can get a couple of upset victories in the remaining games. If PLC sweeps the District, it will really be interesting for the next 3 teams.

If PLC beats G-P Friday night, then they'll have the district championship all but locked up. If G-P beats PLC, then that puts Calallen back in the running for the championship. PLC winning does put the last 3 spots up for grabs. Calallen has to play T-M, G-P, & West. G-P has Calallen, T-M, & West. West has to play PLC, Calallen, & G-P. I believe Beeville & East are out of the playoffs already with 0-2 records. The last 3 spots will be between Cal, G-P, T-M, & West. One of these teams will not make the playoffs. Some good football coming up!

Not that I want Cal to go Div I, but I am pulling for TM to make it. They play hard and it looks like they've turned it around over there.
30-4a has some really good football yet to play.

It'll be great to see TM make the playoffs... Knowing that they didn't quit last night was awesome cause they could have easily rolled over and quit last night.... Also knowing that they are not playing cheap shot football anymore means that coach Boone is getting them in the right mindset of sportsmanship and attitude...

I saw nothing but good hard football last night out of TM. No cheap shots. 0 personal fouls or unsportsmanlike penalties from either side.

Don't discount TM...one of these 5 teams will be shooting baskets in round one.

VW over TM, for no other reason than where they have made HUGE improvements in their game is defense, and you win with defense. TM has showed the ability to play offense, but VW has done it with the Black Swarm. They play defense with a pack mentality. Watching them play defense is like watching a pack of wild dogs on the Serangeti Plain. They have brutal speed on offense, but they are winning games on defense.

I guess the Lockhart Lions rule the Serangeti Plain... They blew outthat VW swarming Defense.

Obviously someone who didn't see the game. 4 offensive turnovers in the 2nd quarter led to 28 points. All were turnovers inside the 30. You remove the 2nd quarter from that game and the game 20-12, with West passing the ball constantly because they were down 35 points. Passing is not their strength. If you think a team during week 6 of the season is the same team they were during week 1 you know nothing about High School Football. It is a good thing FB isn't in the same district with VW. VW has a new defensive statistic. Number of offensive players knocked out of the game. They are averaging 3 per game. Bring it!
