IMO, we are not a #5 team yet. Also, SV is too low. And not to have Madison even mentioned is crazy IMO. That offense is flat out talented and explosive!

How the heck is a 1-2 team above a 2-1 or 3-0 team?? How is SV so low? Madison perhaps will be hot by weeks 4 and 5, BUt Steele made cannon fodder of them so that will stick with them and they should never outrank Steele unless Steele gets obliterated by someone Madison destroys. I'm not a Steele wagon rider, just stating my opinion. I think LT, Katy and Allen are right on the money for sure...can't deny what won't lie down and die without a fight and those teams fight tooth and nail.

BTW...Trinity went up to WA, my old stomping grounds and got spizanked...that says a lot about them. Haka my butt...the lost in 2010 in Dallas and travelled up to WA (where I know for a fact football isn't taken half as serious as down here) and lost. Trinity is a great team of legend, but all programs have rough times and talent droughts...perhaps now is just that time for them. I know ones coming a few miles down the road from where I live...

I agree 2016. ET is living life in the polls off of great past performance and namesake. They are nowhere near as good right now as they were......or the polls show them to be. This is what is seriously wrong with all these polls IMO.

Anyone think A&M Consolidated might be mentioned in the top 20 or so now?
There only loss is to an undefeated Midway team that has made mince meat out of the rest of the teams they've faced.
Also, note to all pollsters..........take SA Madison out of the top 25. SV rolled them badly and Madison is luck it wasn't worse as SV threw a pick in the endzone just before half and Madison hit a homerun 97 yard TD pass themselves. If not for those two plays and Madison getting a trash time TD at the end it would have been 56-10!
Solid proof that great coaching and disciplined team play beats better athletes most of the time.
