Keeping updated on varsity game courtesy maxpreps quixscore feature...14-0 Hays. I just wanna take a second to say thank you to the freshman teams for giving us a bright light towards the end of this tunnel of past failures. You guys not only embody the can do spirit, but also put the fighting spirit back in the SC nations heart. I know that when 2014 comes, we will be solid. 2013 will be a year of marked improvement, but I most look forward to the day you all take the field as varsity players. Thanks young Buffs. Ughhhh.... back to check maxpreps to see if its 21-0 now. Brighter days are in the near future for SC bro. Hang in there.....HANG IN THERE. This freshman group will be very good and the coaching staff will start having some 'reborn' affects on the older ones as well starting this off-season. The 9 months between seasons is where champions are made!!!!

I can only hope so my friend, nothing like being away and seeing scores run up by a less than stellar team wondering if there's any hope for the big Buffs. CMF= Crossing My Fingers for a varsity W.

Me too 2016, ME TOO! I honestly could not tell you the last time a SC team went 0-10. I can tell you it was before 1980, of that I've no doubt. Back in the early 80s we played with the big boys in SA and still managed to get some Ws each and every year. Hope this group can gut one of the last three games out and not go winless.

Don't remember when, but all I know is is the last time SC went 0-10 was back when it was Schertz-Cibolo High School. This season really has sucked and i'm just hoping for one win please! But there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and IMO will come fast.

IDK... Kinda scrapped the varsity season already myself. The varsity IMO doesn't have the concepts of teamwork, drive and determination anywhere in their bodies. First indication of a challenge and they bow down. I think JV and varsity should be allowed to swap so its not a total loss, or perhaps if they write a check to Lehman HS Booster Club they can "arrange" a season ending W. I'm just kidding of course. Anybody got booster club presidents number? JK

Ugh!!! Boerne Champion 16 Clemens 16 ----- A decent game I guess. I feel Boerne dominated the ball and failed to capitalize on a bunch or scoring opportunities. It was a sloppy game to be sure. At least 6 dropped passes including 2 in the end zone.
Moving on....

And talk about a size mismatch. I didn't even play in the game as only like 5 B teamers played tonight. But great game though. GO BUFFS!!!

Size as in height/weight or as in number of players? Champion probably could have out up 30 pts without the 5 turnovers

Man their players are tall, those receivers made our CBs look little. But all I can say is, y'all got a heck of QB on the frosh. Gonna be a good one.

Yes sir he is a good one. I anticipate him being on the Varsity next year in some capacity. As for the receivers and there size, I believe one is 6'3" and the other 6'5". A couple receivers were also hurt including one with a stress fracture in his back. Looks like Clemens had some awesome size on the O-Line and some quickness in the backfield. It's hard to believe there are only 2 weeks left

In non-district play that is! 5A>4A any day, but there both great anyways.

Apparently both tams won again! B team won 22-14 and from what I heard the A team won. I think 2016 again has the score for us I believe. The games should've been blowouts as the B had only 19 players and the A somewhere around there.
Other than maybe Champion, for who we tied, we are leading the district, both A and B I believe. One more game against Lehman next week. A 7-1-1 record is nothing to complain about. Go Buffs!
